Quit wow after about 6 years, was a priest main, that was about 6 years ago, the recent arena streams and Pika have sparked my interest again, dont know if thats a good thing, but this healing experience from Pika was exactly how it goes. SUBBED!

I have a resto shaman at 2k MMR solo shuffle and a preservation evoker that got stuck at 1200 MMR. It's a nightmare trying to get that dragon out of the mental sinkohle that is 1200 MMR dps players. They line their healer harder than they line the enemy dps. They die behind pillars with defensive cooldowns left, they press their wall at 5 % health like it does something then and they kick nothing. They also just sit and take all enemy cooldowns like it doesn't hurt at all. Only reason why my disc and shaman are at higher MMR is that I feel like I can actually carry some games with the damage and utility I have. Without it it's down to pure luck in the first 5 lobbies with your dps.

I played some evoker solo shuffle earlier. Won a 6 round game, gained 76 rating. Won 2 rounds lost 56 rating. Won 3 twice gain 0. Most of the time you have to HARD carry your dps mistakes. As evoker I've started to realise that damage is a priority for me. Also I never let them get low in the first place, use my cd straight away.

This has been the main complaint with healer. It requires a SIGNIFICANT difference in healer performance to lock in the 4-2 +. Each healer plays 3 games with each dps. But each dps only plays 2 games with each other dps. So one bad dps in the lobby can make for 3 probable losses for a healer, making 3-3 their likely best outcome. But for dps, it's only two miserable games. Leaving the opportunity to still go 4-2. . Now, obviously this can still happen as a dps with bad healers. If there is a blatantly obvious healer difference, 3-3 is the likely the best outcome for all dps players. But just based on raw numbers alone, there are 2 healers and 4 dps in every solo shuffle. So there are bound to be more skill gaps among a pool of 4 players vs a pool of 2. So it's natural that healers experience the fated 3-3 guarantee much more often. And I don't really see a way to remove that inherent bias built into the game mode itself. It is what it is I guess. . It's not impossible to climb with healer. After enough queues of consistently higher level play, you will eventually climb. And the quick queues make the grind not so bad. But there is no mistaking... it can be miserable... or as Pikaboo puts it in this video "a nightmare" lol

It's exactly what happens everytime. 3-3 80% of the time for 0 points. 4-2 for 2 points. 2-4 for -60points. I gave up today after 300 games. I don't even heal my self for the whole game trying to be the target so I can out-position dps, but it's so sad at this point. People dying without pressing a single defensive and yelling at you because you are a bad healer while doing twice the heal and dps of other healer. I don't even talk about CCs and DR. Or lining me as prevoker. Oh and the fact that other healer can dispel my whole healing with a single button. Long story short, I git gud and I quit healing. GL to the dps, pvp is over for me this season in SoloQ. If you did not grind week 1 your way up to high mmr with good players, you are stuck forever at lower ranks. Healers can't carry anything. MMR is fucked. end_of_rant. Great to see you heal :p.

Explaining to me that Christiano Ronaldo can be a good football player even if he plays midfielder is not helping anyone by any means being good at football and proving anything. Pikaboo can be number 1 on multiple classes. He is on rogue, on war ... he plays 8+ hours a day while I work. Does the experience pika have the average experience every healer is offered ? Then if you don't get mad after 2h of queuing, 60 matches to win 25 points total, then you'll progress. Facts.
