This is my main problem with pretty much every touchy feely relationship movie I've ever watched: People just don't behave like that in the real world. Action movies get called out for being unrealistic all the time, but they aren't trying to be. Watching Terminator, you know it's fiction, and the movie knows it's fiction. With these romances, they're trying to resemble real stories, but failing miserably. I can't take them seriously. Just my personal opinion, clearly other people enjoy them.
