I heard some people don't like the game's cutscene animations, and to that I say... huh? ZZZ genuinely has the most expressive and fluid animation I've seen in any game recently. The squash and stretch looks really good on these cartoony characters, because even if their proportions are relatively realistic, they still adhere to that inherent "anime" artsyle which exaggerates certain parts of the body to make them more expressive, like their eyes. It makes the game stand out amongst the sea of gacha games, all with similar art design and animation.

I don't play ZZZ but from watching this scene, the animations remind me a lot more of disney/pixar?? Like, they're quite bouncy and elastic or something. Whereas the ones in Genshin look like motion capture, very real and nice imho. ZZZ ones are less believable somehow (no hate, just comparing them objectively). That could be why some ppl don't like them though...

@@kyero8724 Memory required to download the game, how little combat there actually is for a game advertised as combat oriented, how easy the combat actually is, the TV maze in story missions that just become repetitive and unfun for me as I keep doing them, these are the main 3 I can think about that are holding the game back for me. Aside from that though, the quality of the game is great. If they just optimized the game a little better I think this game would be more fun and easier for most people to run on their devices.

​@@brawler5760 honkai star rail had barely any puzzles, because its mainly a combat rpg game Genshin has puzzles because its an open world game (the puzzles aint bad, its just the descriptions and tutorials for them are overcomplicated for such simple actions) honkai impact is basically ZZZ before ZZZ and it had no puzzles ZZZ is obviously gonna try something different, so they added puzzles. the puzzles are not even bad tho, theyre a good way to show the story without actually being in the hollow

I love ZZZ doing the OW style of Animation where you stretched certain areas to make the character more expressive and Dynamic. Which a lot of video games doesn’t does this much because it is time consuming. But if you done it correctly you have literally very good animation in general. Plus some goofy scenes when you paused. Wish more Anime industries uses this if they’re going full 3D CGI.

I'm kind of on the fence with Hoyoverse and not as big into gachas but this game's animation is peak for Hoyoverse by far. I know it takes a crap ton of work and highly skilled artists, but man does it make a huge impact on the personality of the characters. There is so much love and care that goes into the animation and it is so lively. I love that both MC's talk and interact with one another and they behave like actual siblings with a range of personally and not just sticking to a static personality. This feels like a combination of east and western animation in a good way.

going off topic but whether you pick wise or belle depends on preference. wise feels like the protective nonchalant and short tempered brother. Belle feels like a very expressive extroverted and playful teaser. when you pick wise, you get an energetic sister. when you pick belle you get a calm and easy to anger brother. fairy and wise's conversations are funny to watch as I assume he hasn't gotten past the "making sister unconscious" thing fairy did.
