They should up the rate of getting heirloom shards I just finally got my first heirloom 2 weeks ago and I hit level 500 in season 4. Or just lift the level cap to 900 or 1000 so I can grind for the second one

i think the way it works is if you have something, instead of getting a duplicate, the game gives you crafting metals as a substitute.
