This game is dead garbage. It has NOT come a long way at all. You devs have this vision of a game you want to make, but that's a game almost nobody wants to play. It needs capturable bases. It needs faction trading, reasons for the factions to interact, ect. You took like 6 months to release an mp5 in a dead game that REALLY needed more. Nobody asked for an mp5. These devs suck. You made a game that looks amazing, but it's genuinely terrible. The AI have always sucked. The quests are laughably terrible. Its just bad. It's not an extraction shooter, it's a wannabe arma 3 king of the hill. You guys don't even know what kind of game you made😂 You tried to capitalize on tarkovs screw up, released your game and claimed it was an extraction shooter to steal player, this is a pve king of the hill game, it's gonna stay dead, you guys are too slow. And your updates are bad, nobody wanted night time either, people want a good game to play. Make a good game first, then make a night mode lmaooo

I was one of the people who before the hot fix a few weeks back also thought the AI was broken, apart from the desyncs issues I've had recently, the AI actually seem like they've been improved slightly, they're definitely not as cracked as they were at launch! On my second playthrough on character as already wiped once at lvl 33. I'm just hoping the optimisation for tiger bay comes with this patch.

i have over 200 hours in GZW and i love the game cant wait to play at night! what i really like about the game is that u can choose to play on pve or pvp servers and u can just switch how u like. if u just wanna chill and quest a bit u just go to pve and do that but once u feel like u want some action and want some pvp u just join the pvp server and have fun. one of the best games this year for me!

I'm gonna preface this comment by saying I have no horse on this race, I don't care about this game or delta force, really. I watch most of your videos and I have respect for you, but seeing back to back videos one being endless shitting on a free to play game that had a minor fuck up with using copyrighted assets as placeholder on a mobile version of the game (which is dumb, ridiculous and shouldn't have happened, and they deserve to get shit for that, anyone reasonable agrees with that) and now you have a video literally just glazing up a paid game that has been clearly lackluster for its player base for so long, and even MENTIONING that they have literally ''pay to get advantage'' and basically implying that ''It's not that bad'', with the paying for the more expensive version of the game to have more combat capabilities quicker... This is kind of disappointing from you Ghost. I think the delta force video was deserved, even if a bit on the hyperbolic side imo, but having this one right after it really paints a picture, even if it's not really your intention. I'm not going to unsub or even really dislike the video, I just felt like I could give you a comment of what my honest thoughts were.

Hey man, thanks for the feedback, I can certainly understand why you feel strongly about this. Obviously, I'm against P2W in all games, especially PvP centric ones that give you a clear advantage. In the case of GZW however, I have to be honest and say it simply doesn't bother me that much for a few reasons. 1. GZW is a predominantly PvE experience at the start of the game where that higher tier loot is not going to be used against players. By the time you get out into the world and PvPing, you will also have access to all the same stuff from the vendors. 2. I don't actually find much of a difference between the various weapons. Clearly I can't comment on the new AKs or the MP5 for example (because as stated, I didn't try them), but using the AK or the M4A1 doesn't really make a difference in TTK, it's more just a different look, feel, and sound to the gun. I'm just as capable of going out into the world and clearing the starting tasks as somebody who has the fancy package with all the bells and whistles. Now is there more QoL stuff there? Yes definitely, like the bigger lockbox for example but again, to me that's negligible. Hopefully that clears up my thought process a bit, I just didn't want to get deep into it in the video since that wasn't really the focus. The reason I still have the standard $35 version is precisely because I don't feel all the extra stuff you get with the more expensive tiers are even worth it, but it is a way you can support the developer further if you so desire. hey bro, just wanted to add a point that... pay to get advantage.. in a game like this being an extraction shooter is very "normal"? I understand it might not be desired, but it is the only other way for the company to make money outside of the initial purchase, EFT does this as well- and YEARS later they added an incredibly long grind for a free safe you can get, and surely GZW will do this as well *eventually*. Just gotta give it some time since it would be pretty silly to kill their main method of making money outside of an initial purchase, see league of legends where the early days their monetization came from champions, and then their cosmetics have been the primary focus when champion releases are no longer their primary source of funds/income and now theres a multitude of methods in obtaining champions. This is a pretty normal business practice, just implemented in an appropriate theme for an extraction shooter game

@@jad3636 Yea I'm well aware of how almost every extraction shooter monetizes this way, but being the norm does not equal to being good for the customer. We should always scrutinize companies (hence why I believe Ghost should have the same energy he had for the delta force blunder in this case too) they shouldn't decide how much of our gameplay they can affect in the interest of making money, that is a slippery slope (Remember Battlefront 2? lmao). There are other ways to monetize, this is just the easiest one and one that Tarkov players unfortunately swallowed without much care for the precedent it sets.

And there's definitely still a very active player base so more than just a few that want to play 🤷
