Please keep making vlogs like this! I miss the classic vlogs where you just talk into the camera. Love you, Tim!

PLEASE! I'd love to see when you read those journals, even the ancient audio tapes again. I miss your entertaining vlogs like this. I wasn't expecting the journals to be in a TotK episode... I don't like the modern games anymore, but I hope you can do the Zelda journals, or others, here instead.

Your vlogs are the best Tim. I love seeing how real of a person you are and just putting yourself out there. My admiration has peaked.

Please do a vlog series reading through the journals. That would be so epic. Do you still have any more audio tape recordings you haven't shared yet? Please continue with those as well if there are any more. I suggest you keep these vlogs coming. It's such a vibe hanging out with you in this way and relaxing. More please.

I just watched Face Off this week actually and it was pretty dang fun. Watching two actors ham it the heck up is always a good time. I had thoughts about it afterward about how kinda weird it is that in 1997 this is just want movies were. This kind of movie came out and people left their house and paid money to see this thing. There's a certain charm to that and I feel like we've kind of lost that in modern times. A movie where two guys literally switch faces. That's it. That's the movie. Also i really enjoy Jack the Giant Slayer. Partially because I love some of the actors in it (Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, yes please), but also because it is a pure fun adventure movie where the characters are surprisingly likeable. It's pretty good. Also, fun vlog. Always glad to see them.

The thing about rewatching _shows_ is that when you're rewatching a show, you're prooooobably not rewatching the WHOLE THING. Like, most cartoons, you just rewatch the best episodes or your favorites or whatever, it's not like if you wanted to rewatch The Mandalorian or something where it's like, an eight hour commitment-- if you wanna rewatch, say, Band Geeks, it's ten minutes. If you wanna just rewatch individual funny parts by tapping the arrow keys to rewind, that only adds a few seconds each. It also helps when there's channels like AreaEightyNine who posts little _clips_ of good parts, haha- you can watch a couple of those and then get a steady drip feed of other memorable moments in your recommendations, and between all of that, THAT'S how _shows_ stick in your memory without needing to watch them literally so many times you have 'em memorized

Great vid, I had an "Oh dang!" moment when you showed Face Off, I've got a VHS copy on my shelf that my parents must've bought sitting there for years now, might have to give that movie a watch. Also, having the matrix on constantly as background ambience sounds pretty comfy, definitely the kind of movie you could just sit down and start watching from any point and find it interesting.

This was fun to watch. I'm pretty fond of my Blu-ray/DVD collection, so it's fun to see yours, too. I don't have an exact count, but I think the most times I've watched a single movie was, I dunno, Die Hard 15 times. I've also watched Scott Pilgrim 12 times or something, I was obssessed with it in my late teens. I mean, it had great humor, great action sequences, a video game spin and a lot of good-looking women. I don't think there was a movie more tailor-made for my teen self. I might not adore it as much as I used to, but I still love it and think it holds up pretty well. But these days, I don't rewatch movies as much as I used to. And I don't really know why. Lately I've been using reactions to kinda-sorta rewatch movies and shows. And it can be cool, but it's not the same thing. I've been rewatching Community after years of only seeing it through reactions and KZbin clips, and I'm having a great time, it's even better than I remember.

DVD COLLECTIONS!!! this was so fun to watch. My mom had so many DVDs and she used to rewatch certain movies and shows to death aswell. Ngl I'm kinda sad buying DVDs is starting to become more of a thing of the past. My mom used to rent movies at blockbuster weekly and she bought a haul of DVDs when the stores was closing and everything was dirt cheap. Also I'll love to hear Emiles thoughts on Lost if you do watch with him. I really should finish Season 3

I especially like that you have the Super Mario Bros Super Show. This vlog is taking me back to the early 2000s when DVDs were still the hot new thing. For those wondering, that last frame at the end of the video says "Media Offline" with one of those triangular caution signs.

I haven't seen any of these movies over ten times, but this is kind of a personal immediate rewatch list, which I hope will both allow me to remember more easily and to get me off of my bum to do so: Alien (1979) First Blood (1982) Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964) You Only Live Twice (1967) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990, this video is the reason I'm even posting this list!) maybe also Bloodsport (1988), but maybe that's because I have another "blood" film from the '80's on this list Lupin III: The Mystery of Mamo (1978, has four [4] English dubs, I've seen only one of those, so far)

When I was a kid I remember when I was grounded for a whole school year but I was allowed to still have TV and dvd player so I would watch hot fuzz over and over until I eventually knew every line of dialogue in the movie. The only movies that come close to the amount of times I watched hot fuzz is Mickey Mouse’s three musketeers or emperor’s new groove

Man, MY DVD collection is SO enormous... it's definitely a case of, there are many movies I probably don't care to keep anymore after all these years, but like, it's just not worth even trying to get rid of them, like if I could ever set up a garage sale or something, I would probably only ask about $3-$5 per one, or maybe figure out an acceptable price for all regardless of each individual value or rarity. There are definitely some movies I've seen at least between 50 and 100 times in my life, like the Back To The Future trilogy and The Goonies. And then there are some that I just saw for my own first time in more recent years, and I'm now trying to make into a "try and watch it 1-2 times per year", those are movies like Napoleon Dyanamite (yes, I seriously saw it for the first time, more recently than 2020...), Trainspotting, Class Of 1984 and This Boy's Life. Some movies I've probably seen between 5 and 10 times, would be like The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Willow, Rock N Roll High School, Highlander and First Blood. I have full series shows like Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, The Legend Of Zelda and Sonic SatAM, I still want Super Mario Bros. Super Show, but maybe eventually. There are some I wish that I could find / acquire on DVD, or maybe even Blu Ray, still, like Midnight Madness, the original Super Mario Bros. movie with Bob Hoskins, I STILL love that movie all these years later, despite how "bad" it apparently is, Once Bitten, which is probably my favorite pre-1994 Jim Carrey movie, and the 1986 Trick OR Treat horror movie, I do have that one on DVD, but it's a "fullscreen" transfer, so, I'm wanting a Blu Ray or something with it's original theatrical aspect ratio, OH and Serial Mom, holy shit that is a funny one! I also have a couple bootleg DVDs, mainly a Michael J. Fox one called Light Of Day, since I don't think it was ever released on DVD or Blu Ray officially, it also had Joan Jett in it.
