I’ve Spent £730 on accessories for my Cyrusher Kommoda! How?

Thanks Joe! Watching from Canada. For my e-bike, the accessories I bought are a bar-end mirror, a rack bag, and Tannus Armour for both tires. Another accessory was a bike bell. While many ebikes do have electronic horns, they can be very startling to pedestrians or other bikes you approach from behind. A more traditional bell is a more friendly option, allowing you to save the horn for traffic.

Nice selection of accessories I got my kommoda a month ago. I live in the rocky mountains of Colorado. The US version goes 28 mph on throttle only. Cost $1700.

One thing most everyone will want to replace on the Kommoda is the rear shock. It is very overly stiff and meant to only accommodate a heavy person. Replacing the shock with an air adjustable shock turns the bike into a dream ride! Just for information the shock needed is the 6.5 in or 16.5cm long model.

Good stuff! I under slung a mirror for good vision too. I also happen to have that same Kryptonite chain lock and that green tyre slime. I concur. I had a Cyrusher XF800, but sold it after chickening out thinking about plod. I am after a Kommoda in blue myself now, since it is close to road legal (not quite due to 48v batt). Useful vid…TY.

hey joe, subscribed, defiantly an expensive hobby lol, the initial 1800-2000+ is just the start lol dont forget to add bike insurance to the total extras cost too, thieves love them, so the insurance isn't cheap lol i was wondering if you could do a real world test with your kommoda, commented on one of your other videos yesterday, I'm only off 30 lbs or so off the 330lbs weight limit and 6 foot 5, being a cargo style bike im looking at the ovia with similar specs as the kommoda, but here's the problem, after speaking with some friends today we came to conclusion 330lbs limit really isn't realistic, if i go get some shopping stick it on the rear rack with the double pan bags, a back pack with shopping, were looking at being closer to 400lbs realistically, some milk tins of food bags of veg it soon adds up to a quite a heavy weight load even for a small bag, but we also discussed the fact a lot of people who look at ebikes especially the step through style are generally unfit or over weight and looking at using one to get fit so there often pushing over 330lbs so they wouldn't bother getting one as they would just say ahh well I'm to big for it when you consider that this is who ebike revolution is aimed by the government at getting people fitter, i had a look around and no one has done a real world test of what any of these bikes can actually do, was thinking if you could load those panier bags up stick a back pack on add some weight and show people what the bike is really capable of without obliviously going mad but a 400lb test which in reality is way more realistic when most people who buy them are doing so because they need the extra help getting fit and would use it to like you say pop to the shops, would give people a place to go see for them self's and say hey it will pull me and my shopping up that hill all be it slower even if im over the 330lbs weight limit just a thought that guy just proved it, my uncle for example is over the 330lbs with two busted knees from an accident most and the docs say to him buy a step through ebike haha there is only really 2 or 3 bikes that go above 330lbs but they all have tiny 250w motors fitted not the 750w of the cyrushers ( 750w only useable on private land ) and if theres one person asking can they pull me too or can they pull me and my shopping ect then theres 1000s more wondering the same

@@Everything_E-Bike No worries, I picked up most of what you suggest here except the bike rack and mirrors. I do think the pedals are mandatory, those plastic ones are borderline useless. I got an XF650 for myself and that has metal pedals so not sure why the more expensive bike doesn't! Hope your doing ok after your crash mate, my mum came off hers yesterday but at a significantly slower speed but still scary.

It was a good idea to ditch those folding pedals. I had those on one of my bikes and the bearings wore out after about 500 miles.

Thanks Joe, that was interesting as I have bought a few accessories for my grey Kommoda. I have got the very wide bikeroo seat with a zoom seat post, just for that extra comfort. I have put a mirror on and I bought the bag for the rear rack from Cyrusher. I also bought the same lock as you but a bit longer (very heavy!) I am very interested in buying a bike rack in the future. So would you mind doing a video one day going into more detail on the bike rack please?

I recommend changing your rear shock, HLT is very stiff imo.

I have the Kommoda and changed the tyres for Swalbe Moto X. Got the same rack as yourself the Buzz rack e scorpion..do you find it difficult to consistently fit to the towball? Seems to not fully engage on occasions.

I have one few bad isiues with them the middle suspension the shock went the discs are bent and cheap buying the bike you need to spend money for better parts the company a nightmare to get them fixed quite not as nice the end of the phones good bike tho very costly to get the bike right

I wouldn’t do that because it’s your money, that you’ve worked hard for, and it’s your choice how you use and enjoy it.
