Hey Liam, I completely agree. Another factor is the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) syndrome. Every time there's an AI news update, we think the mentioned tool will add value to our businesses , but it often doesn't.👍🏻

I have known this for months now, but I needed this video to validate it. You hit it dead on brother!! From Matt Wolfes (LEGEND) videos to getting fully "tapped in", you have never shot me in the wrong direction. Thanks for the valuable content per usual

Great point Liam, this also ties into the Pareto principle where 80% of the output (revenue/clients) comes from 20% of the input (recording videos/building solutions). Keep going with those videos, they're amazing and your work really helped a lot of people. Greetings from Romania 💪

Thank you Liam for calling us to focus. No AI news, certainly no TV and no entertainment youtube. Also to commit to a few select sources of information, from which you are one of only two on youtube, has helped me a ton. You and Alex Hormozi. Nothing outside of that. I am committed to filming my work sessions and spend the time, instead of watching youtube, to properly prepare before and review after, yields me better and faster growth than looking up AI news each week. Thank you for your work man, Let's go!

I don't even do anything related to AI and thought I need to "tap into it". But it's not even really relevant for what I'm doing as an SEO agency owner. I like how you're breaking it down. It's mostly about actually pursuing revenue generating activities like sales calls, outreach, marketing, building a personal brand, etc. - which is what most people are trying to avoid. The good stuff is always waiting outside of the comfort zone. Good stuff, keep it up.

Me too... I'm going through the same thing... I have some projects in mind, and every day so many things come up that in the end I end up "saturated" with so much information...

This came at the most perfect time for me. I've been managing several IT and computer science student interns to help me automate my nonprofit's workflows. I have been doing intense research on this for the past 6 months thinking that they'd read my research documents and figure it out - but they had no idea and were overwhelmed with this information. It wasn't until about two weeks ago that I completely slowed down on intake of knowledge and concepts (aside from simple AI news update podcasts) and started playing around. I am now able to see past the smoke and mirrors and better guide my team, even if my background isn't in IT. Game on!

You are my run to persons and Matt Wolfe tor any latest information, like you said I keep chasing new shiny stuff which I dont need. Yes its good to stay up to date, but its better to stick on those boring old tested method like you mention instead getting down the rabbit hole everytime. What you said also applies to everything not just in AI stuff, you are the first person I found here in youtube who actually mention this stuff and it shows your true character and I really respect you on this much more. I got the same feeling also in trading always chasing new stuff as it comes up. Thank you for confirming this.

Liam, you are so spot on! I’ve worked for many years in the enterprise tech sector , and I can absolutely say that you are exactly right. No serious business is going to pay for a software product just because it’s new, when it’s not tried, tested and proven as a stable and reliable software that will bring or save money to their business. Serious business owners are not kids who get excited about every new shiny technology that has just came out.
@eyoo3694 ай бұрын
Coding, coding and more coding... every moment you're not coding or building you're not making money. Simple as that. Stop watching that Matt Wolfes garbage and limit that shit to a bare minimum. Many flashy tools that consumed so much hype cycle eventually flopped such as Devin, Rabbit R1 or the Humane AI pin. Eventually the right tools will be known after they've been stresstested by the early adopters. You wanna explore a new library, LLM, technology after it gets out of the early adopter phase and transitions into a more robust production-ready framework. LLM's have already given us so much "magic" but for many it seems like the effect is wearing off. If you can't build a business now with all the amazing tools readily available, then you'll never be able to build. Not now and not with a new flashy magic framework that disrupts things where you think you have an edge. You just lack resilience to build

I agree to a certain degree. If you don't consume any market research than you will fall out of line eventually with competitors who transform "cutting edge" tech into "mainstream" tech. Think Vapi or Air Ai. Newsletters, youtube, and business communities are all good examples on how you can stay up to date. At the same time, this should just be a substitute to the real work that you are doing of creating and building your own personal agency.

I had been paying over $200 a month in Patreon subscriptions to try to keep up with the fast moving AI train and needless to say, I have over 600 projects that I haven’t even unzipped yet. And about half of them either have to be updated or are obsolete. On top of that, my brain is fried and I gets nauseous when I hear about another model coming out.

Trying to use tools that are built by someone else will only get you so far.

What is an "AI Agency"? Do you know how to actually build anything when it comes to LLMs, ML, DL? Or does your "agency" just use "AI" software written by someone else and you white-label and markup to B2B clients? I really would wish folks would stop using the term "AI" because it is not true in any sense whatsoever if you know how the models are built.
@LiamOttley4 ай бұрын
Depends what style of AI agency you want to run. My agency does custom AI solutions so we build things from scratch using LLM APIs. We started off using low code tools though

Clickbait titles often exaggerating the benefits or risks of AI without providing balanced or accurate information. This can lead to unrealistic expectations about what AI can achieve and confusion about its practical limitations. Many AI news sources, especially on KZbin, focus on broad and vague discussions rather than delving into specific use cases or success stories that businesses can emulate.
