I've worked in Saudi Arabia for 11yrs, same house! now a landlady in Kenya

Ann Wambui was a market vendor in Gatundu, when she heard about the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia 11 years ago.
The urge to put food on the table and educate her two children after she separated with their father, made her dare the foreign land, as difficult as it was.
The employer who accommodated her 11 years ago, is the same one she works for and hopes to continue working for, until she has saved enough to venture into real estate.
Today, she owns several pieces of land here in Kenya and she is also a landlady.

I was in damman the man of the was very good but Madam ad daughters 😢😢we were two Kenyans.They were very rich but food aki😔was a problem though the store was full Madam didn't allow us to cook.At times mzee wa nyumba could buy food for us KFC tunakulia kwa choo 😝niseme tu inakuwanga bahati ya mtu getting a good family.

I can tell you the short version is that she works in Saudi and has for 11 years and she says her boss is absolutely wonderful and has been so good to her and she also works very hard and tried her best to be the best version of herself. She even raised her boss’s son who is now 10 years from the time he was 10 months & she loves him like her own son. She says that she’s never met such good people and that right from day one they were very welcoming and respected her. That she also looks after her boss’s daughter’s child and she loves it. She thanks her boss and the whole family who have been so good that they’ve managed to help her invest in Kenya so that when she retires she can live well. Also thanks her mum and sister for taking care of her children while she’s away. She advises other ladies to stop fearing work, respect their bosses, lay low, have an end goal, take care of houses like it’s their own house, do exactly what the boss wants, create boundaries and put God first in everything. That’s the summary 🙏🏾
