What magnificent productions. I was honored to direct the Ballet at la Scala from 1987 to 1991 and was Special programs director to 1884. This production was a joy to work in. Carla Fracci and Patrick Dupont are marvelous talented artists.

Ottimo questo ballettp dalla regia ambientativa eccellente ed ideativa del coordinamento del collettivo danzante che esprime in toto l'esprit de joie della danza e la sua armonia. Ottimo l'impadronimrnto elanista del proscenio a balzi falcati amplissimi ed a tourbillon vorticoso di giravolte da parte del ballerino. Ottimo quello che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convolo aereo ed elanista della ballerina ottimamente indotto e tenuto dal partner. Ottimo il senso del continuum dato alla pièce danzante dai protagonisti. Molto bravi e spettacolari tutti gli agenti in proscenio.Bighin Giulio Renzo. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Yikes! DuPont nearly fell right over at about 9:21!! I guess maybe he lost concentration for a split second or was really tired during his mad dervish spinning and slipped, but he also made a great recovery, lol! This is really superb! The set by itself is so stunning, and then we got so much color and virtuoso dancing from a wide range of the company, which is always great to see. Just really beautiful!
