Mystery boxes is the easiest way to offload unwanted cards lol. Also, just think twice when buying those Japanese mystery boxes, the packs are probably searched (no secret rares). For those who dont know, there is usually 1 secret rare in each Japanese booster box, they can just keep opening until they find the secret rare, and offload the rest of the packs in these "mystery boxes" (and of course sell the secret rares as singles).

Yah all shocked he has lugia and umbreon when he literally just paid 1700$ for them 🙄 it's nothing exciting when u see a card u literally just bought for the value it costs. That's like buying a car. Than turning around and be like OMFG a car I never would have guessed. 😮 what a surprise. 😂😂 this guy doesn't even probably like pokemon if he wasn't making money he probably wouldn't even be here. Hey Mystic Rips, instead of donating to goodwill could you give those cards to your local library or just a different thrift store? Goodwill puts all of their pokemon cards on an auction site and puts them up for ridiculous prices. I doubt they need the money based on how they price everything else. I'd love to watch a video where you just go around giving out packs of pokemon cards that you would have donated to goodwill. I love the vids and I hope that we can get in touch one day!

You know, there is a very telling thing in this video along with others like this. You see their singles for sale under the glass, but then you also see they look at and send off all their own stuff and sell graded cards. This, logically means, any single they sell in store or online (and you saw, there's a ton) has a slim chance of grading a 10. Just fyi when purchasing ungraded singles, odds are good they have already been looked over for grading and passed on by experienced folks, just fyi when buying raw singles anywhere. I know most assume this fact, but I think it needs to be more than assumed, I think my new rule is that I won't ever buy a raw card to grade, ever. No matter how "good" it looks.

Im in uk & collecting the newer sets along with my grandson doing the same. Me personally its a struggle but im missing so many cards from all the older sets. Think the one im getting nearest to completion is steam siege. Literally in uk trying to complete a old set is hard as the stores in uk i follow & buy are pricey & added to that i need the big art carts also rainbows & gold cards. I wish Pokémon cards were as simple as they were before before you were guaranteed to get a holo or better, the amount of fun I used to have just opening up a box of cards not knowing whether or not I would get anything didn’t matter because I had fun doing it. I still think that the new sets are fun but not as fun as when your friends would bring some packs over and you had a pack battle or just opened them.
