I Visited A Seoul Hospital that Destroys American Healthcare!
I live in Seoul South Korea and as an American, I can tell you that healthcare in South Korea is crazy good! I love that I can go to the hospital for minor aches and pains and won't be charged an arm and a leg; something I couldn't dream of in the United States! For foreigners, I found the best hospital that can cater to all our specific needs. They even speak English there! If you are a foreign expat living in South Korea, look no further than Sinsaegae Seoul Hospital for all your major and minor medical needs. They took care of me well and I'm sure they will take care of you as well!:)

Being a Korean man, I always complain about shortcomings of Korean Medicare systems. Your video reminds me of what happened during my American sojourn. My nephew got some glass cuts on his arm, and we had to hire an ambulance. The 15-minute ambulance ride, driven way under the speed limits, costed me $800, let alone what the horrifying hospital bill obligated us! That blew my mind.

It's a big reason why poor people have so many ailments in the US that are now irreversible...we are scares to go to the hospital because it's would destroy our finances. You experienced it firsthand. Korea is so much better.

@francoismarc3 An Aussie friend of mine who has lived in Korea for 2 decades teaching English now decided to go back to his home country. The single reason for him to return is that Australia provides him with being under cancer treatment, with full "free" medical care that includes outpatient nursing care. That's what governments are for!

America has been in trouble with its healthcare for years. I don't understand how the general populous stands for this... Its a basic human right that should be the least expensive item on the agenda.

@@francoismarc3 its called bribery..er... campaign donations. look whose financing your senators or house campaigns. drug companies and insurance companies make sure the prices are 10x. in korea the drugs and procedures are price controlled and the insurance company, the government, doesn't try to make a profit as a middleman when they pay the doctor.

When you go to medical school (in America) these days, it's mostly about prescribing medicine and treating the symptoms than fixing the actual underlying problem. For example, you can obtain the same results with Ozempic without the nasty side effects and the high cost for free through fasting, ketogenic diet and exercise. You can also permanently reverse diabetes through the same methods. How many doctors will tell you this? Not many because they can't make any money off of it.

B, it's actually cheaper to fly here for surgery than it is to have it done in the US...even if you don't have insurance...its crazy. Before coming here, I hardly ever went to the doctor, but now, I go as often as I need. Whay a stark contrast to the US!
