I've done 48 states not Alaska and Hawaii... Montana was the least seen I crossed the border towards billings and had to go back to Wyoming just saw Crow agency Montana and nothing else...I've only driven in about 43 states or 42 5 or 6 are greyhound but I decided to just count the 6 greyhound states as seen(Washington Utah Idaho Oregon new Mexico) I drove in California once but it was 20 years ago and for half a mile someone else was driving and the other 3/4 times in California I was using bus/train

really impressed and amazed, I had take a trip from socal to ND, 3 times, and one them I did in one go 28hr and it felt like one most daunting things ive ever done, the view and experience was pretty good but dam, and you three 4x'd that boggles my mind, also surprised got through those northern states so well, there's tons wildlife, and some roads are scary, good thing was good time, I went through later in year and the snow storms where terrifying

if I did it when I was single, no kids, and by myself, maybe. But I’m doing it with a wife and two small kids. She wants to take time enough to sightsee and the kids get restless when on the road too long. Coming from Memphis TN. By the time I make it to Washington state, Alaska is still another 36hrs one way. I may have to make that a solo trip. About to start a travel KZbin page. I decided to add a travel trailer to the 48 state challenge. And I don’t have a truck yet! …. Lol

I think the craziest part about this is that they used a rental car. Imagine the agency thinking it will be like 3000 miles from Boston to Seattle but it was like 8000. Definitely got banned from the company haha

Not if it's unlimited miles I drove Louisiana to Fargo north Dakota in a rental car it was done quick for me 3 days each way I stopped for a day somewhere north of KC a day In Fargo and overnight in Arkansas on the way back it was in 7 days round trip when I got the $1300 stimulus check

I had a rental car for 30 days and had to change it out because not only did it need an oil change. I added 4000 miles to it. I used to drive a lot 10 years ago. I averaged 3000 a month and oil changed every 5-6 weeks

Small tip, if you're in an SUV you could've put the seats down and put an air mattress in the back since there was only 3 people and made the person sleeping more comfortable
