I agree 100%, over the years Arctic Cat has come out with some amazing ideas that get borrowed by the other manufacturers, The Torque sensing link on the rear skid for example that nobody talks about! I believe it first came out on the 97 ZR now both Polaris and Doo use them. Thanks for the great video.

Your love for Arctic Cat is a blessing! Keep sharing your videos, it's always a good day when you upload. I'm a big fan of vintage Arctic Cat, currently collecting parts for a 81 El Tigre That I want to install a 650 twin pipe from a WildCat in it, That thing will be a rocket!

U guys r so right about the 2012 pro cross race sled. I loved my 2008 son pro SX and 2011 600 sno pro XC racer. My 2012 was the worst arctic cat handling wise I ever had. Took me 3 years to get 2012 to work and won 2014 USCC east pro open and pro stock championships. My 2015 racer was awesome handling wise but had no top end. My 16 was even slower my 17 the worst 89mph on ice is all I could get out of it.

Let's face facts here. Cat has been an always will be the leader in suspension geometry. Going all the way back to the transition from leaf spring skis to modern rails an front ends. Cat leads the pack the rest follow period. Double a arm front ends to the ett to the tall spindle an so on. All other manufacturers could not keep up with cats handling. Trailing arms have too much bump steer so they all went double a arm. Pogo sticks where a joke. Yamaha rear skid never transferred weight. Skidoos rear skid was trash on corner speed Polaris didn't know what they where going for.

On the 858 clutch, doesn’t steal next to aluminum create corrosion? Great video Rocky I’m a flatlander but love the mountain stuff

No problem, the hole clutch ,engine and chassis is a mix of steel and aluminum.
