I'm not being disrespectful here--just honest, but this isn't very powerful at all. It's actually an old wives' tale. It is possible to make 10% profit in a month or two without taking a 5% drawdown in that period, just not very probable. (The CEO kind of alluded to this fact which was misconstrewed.) The profit goal at a prop firm is a sucker bet at an unregulated casino, but if you have the right strategy, e.g. hedging, you can overcome the odds of winning vs. losing. Plus, you only need to make 10% profit without getting a 5% daily drawdown in a month during the challenge phases. Once you have the funded account, and even during the challenges, you can stop out before the 5% drawdown. On the funded account, you can make a profit over a year, even with the inevitable drawdowns. The real trick here--and this is what makes prop firms a bad bet--is finding a prop firm that will pay its winners consistently and not ban them for some silly, made up reason or a prop firm that doesn't become insolvent because the CEO is using the loser's funds to buy himself a new lambo, e.g. one that is subject to fraud and misappropriation. There's no LARGE capital requirements to make 10% in a month without taking a 5% drawdown either. It's just the number of attempts or challenges that you can do and have the capital for, plus hedging when you lose with a solution like PropEA.

Powerful falsehoods. You don't need a lot of capital to make 10% profits without having a 5% drawdown to pass a prop firm challenge in 1-2 months. You just can't make those returns / max daily drawdown consistently. But given enough attempts and hedging strategy, you can actually make it profitable. And no one says you have to make that return once you get a funded account, you just need to do a cut loss before the max daily drawdown; the max overall drawdown is typically much higher. You also need to ensure that the prop firm actually pays you--and that's the real risk--and doesn't go insolvent for a variety of reasons.

Good video. I'm not yet in Darwinex or Propfirms but I've heard of other KZbinrs that have gotten paid by Propfirms. Have you tried contacting other Propfirms for interviews to hear their side of the story?

Very informative video thank you, so Darwin apart from at least being regulated in the main business also learned from prop firms model that money can be made by charging for so called qualify your track record as the CEO puts it, in simple terms meaning buying a challenge since many traders fail anyways. Question is why dis they not lower those fees to be in line with their percentage payout since those percentages are realistic.

Essentially, when you trade with Darwinex Zero, your strategy, whether it's manual, algo or a combination is called your DARWIN. This is like your trading profile When an investor likes your strategy, they will invest in it, which basically means they copy trade from you. For this, you get a 20% performance fee. So, the investor gets 80% of the profits, and you get 20%. The 2 and 20 is a hedge fund compensation structure consisting of a management fee and a performance fee. 2% represents a management fee which is applied to the total assets under management. A 20% performance fee is charged on the profits that the hedge fund generates, beyond a specified minimum threshold.
