Lautern is echt sick man! Bij de afslag vanaf de snelweg richting Kaiserslautern zie je de Betze al bovenaan over de stad heen kijken prachtig! Alleen de stad is wel heel kil en niet super mooi, maar dat kan natuurlijk aan mij liggen haha.

Je moet zeker een keer gaan man! voor de derde keer geweest in 3 jaar tijd. Is wel een eindje rijden, maar die Betze brennt immer. Goede wedstrijd kiezen met een ploeg met een fanatiek kern en je hebt sowieso garantie op doelpunten, scoren relatief veel. Sfeer zal nooit teleurstellen.

In Germany people tend to support a club from their region and regions tend to be big. Like 1-5 million. Kaiserslautern is the only club with a big history in Palatinate. Interesting to know: the stadium is the main reason FCK went down to 3rd division. They took a loan to renew the stadium to be host a stadium of the WC 2006 but just when the world cup happened and Bundesliga started to break attendance records every season and big money was paid by TV station FCK went down to second because of bad managment on and of the pitch and some corrupt managers.

Wie gesagt, ich war 2018 beim Derby zwischen Galatasaray und Fenerbahce, freute mich auf das Spiel und war dann ziemlich enttäuscht über die schlechte Atmosphäre. Der Höhepunkt war, dass einige Galatasaray Fans nach dem 2-2 (!) aus Enttäuschung des Stadion verlassen haben. Vor allem während des Spiels war die Stimmung richtig mies, von dem ganzen Rund herum mal ganz zu schweigen (Ambiente, Stadion).
