Universal tree Goku is a better tank than Jiren outside of his standby. Jiren would greatly benefit from straight defensive equips if you can get 1800+ extra defense. When bosses are hitting 3+ million, straight damage reduction doesn't cut it anymore unless defense is over a million

That’s pretty much exactly why Jiren is a slot 2 character outside of his standby, as well as during his 1st turn as Full Power Jiren when he has 71% DR. My only issue with him is that he feels like he’s lacking an additional super attack in his passive. That really would have been the chef’s kiss on this unit.

Bro Toppo was much better in slot 1 over Jiren on turn 1 with the angel in slot 3 lol 42% damage reduction plus guard plus 200% defense and the buff when receiving an attack vs Jiren 61% damage reduction slot 1

25 dodge in hidden potential is 50% chance to dodge...great chance with a 25 hidden is 85% dodge

wrong on multiple fronts. 1) dodge is calculated differently than additional and crit. 1 dodge hidden potential = 1% dodge 2) great chance means 70% 3) passive dodge and hidden potential dodge are not simply added together great chance + 25 dodge = .70 + (.30 x .25) = 77.5% chance overall

4:00 hp is not looking that impressive on this team. Majin buu saga team can get above 700k hp with all the LRs. One super from high damage boss on a weak unit can take almost all the hp.

He doesn’t need it. He has 70% crit built into him, and then he guaranteed crits at 24 Ki as full power Jiren. The other 70% of the time you’re playing with him he’ll be in his standby where he won’t be able to attack anyways.

He has 70% crit, builds up 11% crit with each Super Attack he does, and gets 100% crit at max ki. Crit is the one thing he absolutely does not need lol
