There are some extremely good quality-of-life improvements in this version. Platform detection seems way better, the music keeps playing unless there's a game over, some sound effects were added, and so on. It's really good stuff! And of course, this run was really great! You could practically do it on Impossible!

That is the huge benefit of the remaster. Doesn't crash, has consistent physics, and some extra content added as well (couple of new characters to play as). Highly recommend this for those wanting to get into IWBTG fan games.

When you jump down, rub up against the right side as you are falling. Then wait to hold left until you touch the ground. Then boom, you will go through the spike wall.

Quite a bit was changed between the two. Whole new physics engine as well as all crashes fixed. The game has unlockable characters and new hidden areas. Other small quality of life improvements. There is probably stuff I'm missing, but its pretty clear that the remaster is the best way to experience the game.

Two methods: I mostly tense up my forearm and vibrate it on the key for 10-12 shots per second. The other method is to flutter click the button with two fingers. Either way it's pretty hard, but at least flutter clicking is easier on the body.

There was a save on the screen before. I line up about as far as the bullet travels in this game. Jump and shoot at the save, then run to the position I want to be in when the bullet hits the save so that I respawn there. Really neat trick/skip.

I use my entire arm. Sort of a vibration method. Definitely bad for your arm if you do it too much, but it allows me to shoot 11-13 shots per second.

Only two types of enemies don't kill you when you hit them. The cheep cheeps and the hawks (in graveyard). These two enemy types only push your character, usually into spikes or off the cart in the case of the cheep cheeps.

you shoot a save block to set your new position from what i remember in IWBTG when you reload a save, you can jump again immidiately out of it, even in the air also it resets things to make hitting certain tricks easier Is that what you were asking about?

The game got a remaster about 2 years ago. Revamped graphics, all crashes fixed, and more consistent physics for a much more enjoyable playing experience. Highly recommend it if you enjoyed the original.
