“I Want Layers” Zig-Zag Part Braids

I started watching your videos so I could learn how to braid my kids’ hair. Finally figured out how to grip properly and use my pinky to part the stitches. My friend’s cousin saw my braids and asked me to do her son’s hair. As a white lady who is fairly new to braiding, her asking me to do her son’s 4c hair was a gigantic compliment (my heart shed a happy tear) that can only be attributed to you! Your work and teaching is perfection and I just wanted to give you credit where it’s due. You’re truly a blessing to me.

As a white woman who struggles with the most basic of braids, I'm addicted to watching the unbelievable talent exhibited in your videos. You are truly an artist in your trade. I'm looking for edge control gel that will work great for everyday use without thinning and damaging edges, but nourish those areas instead. I have been staying away from gels like that for years because I am a natural hair female with long hair, but it gets hard to keep a sleek look without help from some type of product. I have been using headbands and I am getting tired of wearing those constantly.😊
