You have certainly done the right thing for the animals giving them a loving comfortable and friendly environment, not to mention a SAFE environment for them to live out their lives. You are to be commended for doing what you can for them. Who knows what horrible fate awaited both of them on the streets. The pup was probably going to die from hunger and even possible poisoning from the scraps around the bins he was searching for food at. The kitten couldn't survive there on her own without a mother present. Thankyou so much.
