Great to see Michael Conlon, back to himself full healthy. He sounded a bit groggy but then he would of been just out from the hospital. You had us all worried Mick, true warrior and fighter. You gave it everything in the ring. It was a brilliant fight very entertaining and exciting. I had butterflies in my stomach. Huge respect to you Michael and also to Leigh Wood. Exceptionally humble both fighters, they both need a good rest, recovery and family time to get back to normal life. You should be proud Mick you represent Belfast and Ireland with great honour. What a fight! and Conlan was clearly ahead and deserves props for that display.. I get champions having rematch clauses, but everyone and his dog want rematches nowadays. He can definitely come again or gain a different belt, but take some time off and fully recover, taking a loss is no big thing if involved in fights like that 👍

A example of a round someone got knocked down in and didn't lose round was round 5 AJ vs Klitschko, that was a 9-9 round Klitschko lose point for knockdown and AJ lose 1 point because lost the round.

If Conlan had of made it thru that last round, and then lost the fight there would have been uproar, he dominated from start to finish, it would have been another massive skidmark against the judges, so I think it's lucky for them that woods got that shot in that ended the fight... but what a fight, loved every second of it.. amazing.
