I’m gonna be completely honest, I truly will never understand how you can be in love with somebody and yet still make the decision not to do everything you possibly can to make it work out with them. I get that there’s circumstances that can take place that can keep you apart, but if you truly and genuinely love somebody, why would you not fight and make the changes?

Great question, easy answer although. You must understand a lot of the times a person gets sick and tired of being sick and tired, and when a person is not grown in the areas that are nesassary to have a respectful unconditional loving relationship, a lot of the times individuals are trauma bonded to their past, healing is a must because hurt of all kinds that may have happened in the past typically are brought into their New relationships, without even knowing we are doing it. Example we also bring patterns that were experienced by watching our piers,again without realizing we're doing it. So picture people who jump from person to person without proper closure. You will carry crap on top of crap no matter how much love you have for that individual, in true love the work on oneself will be done no matter how long it takes period. And if its meant to be the universe will bring it back around. I speak from my own experiences and those who I've loved. "Life's a dance we learn as we go" God Bless your journey

trauma responses not for everyone obviously but typically is what i’ve observed it’s what they’re taught and they could know better but again get triggered remember trauma and repeat the cycle as almost a “survival” strategy in they’re brain ….just brainstorming offering a different perspective

In all reality we do this to ourselves, meaning nobody makes us stay or forces us, pictures of somebody forcing you to stay somewhere you don't want to actually picture picture of the physical motion of it you see, we're so caught up in the thought of being in love where it almost seems we're willing to do anything to stay in it, knowing very little about the individual we're with you ever hear that say and hurt people hurt people well it's true read the post that I left for somebody else above this one nobody's forces us to stay anywhere and nobody does anything to us that would make it all their fault, the fault becomes ours when we choose to stay even though we know we're being mistreated, a lot of us a lot of us are in love with the thought of being in love so we stay hoping and praying things change, just to be disappointed again and again. People will treat us as bad as we allow them to treat us, nothing changes if nothing changes, you see somewhere down your lifeline you must have allowed more than one individual to get away with hurting you whether it be physical, mentally, emotionally, leaving you bankrupted of all healthy things that a beautiful relationship normally has, somewhere we actually have allowed individuals to get away with treating us horrible or vise versa, trust me I did always know this I'm 55 yrs old and I speak from experience and things I've chosen to learn after enrolling in classes after being left holding my heart and soul in my hands after feeling as it were yanked out of my chest persae' so picture this a moment, when somebody says something like..well "You made me cheat on you" because you don't ever make dinner for me, or give me attention. What reason is given, picture you actually physically making that idiot cheat on you, picture you grabbing them and physically forcing them to do this. For one it's ridiculous and secondly how stupid to put the blame on you, it's abserd right? Of course it is.. when we do the work that is required on ourselves we attract a different type of person that's a fact I assure you that, and if you don't feel great within that makes you unavailable, right? Or it will make you question yourself and force fault on the individual you may be with at that time, 7 months is not a long time if you think about it still very new when you think about, that's newly Wedds stage still, it's important your loving yourself and learning, repeating cycles is a no no I leaned that one the hard way unfortunately. It's a learning process as everything is, I didn't always know this, there are so many damaged people that are out In This world hurting others because they don't know, what they don't know.
