The two that stood out to me were the drummer and the keyboard player. The keyboard player absolutely destroyed it! Awesome stuff!

It a shame that you think keyboard plyer destroyed it - I think he did a really good job.

Amazing instrumental cover from young people that were, what, 15-17 years old? That was amazing! There are some criticisms in the comments, take them as critiques to make your music better. But this was a grand interpretation.
@musicacedin3 жыл бұрын
Correct, around 15 to 17 years old. The guitarists where just learning how to improvise, so this was kind of like a workshop, and they where also learning how to record as a band with in-ear monitoring for the first time. I know there is always room for improvement, and I actually agree with most of the comments below. But I am also aware that these are not professional musicians, and I'm very proud of their hard work. I know their limits, and their strengths. Thanks once again for your comments!

Captured! Some criticism is warranted by comparison to so much of the rest being spot on, says this jazzer who started out listening to the Beatles in 1964. They were the right group with the right sound for the era. When I saw macca in 2002 I finally got my wish to sing with him, along with 20,000 other people of 4 generations. EVERYONE was singing.

Just because the first guitar is physically attractive and female , amidst some good musicians all loving their work - no one will praise her. Odd times . Second guitar was cool too
@RobVargasTV5 ай бұрын
That's quite an assumption on your part. Your comment reveals that you have reduced this musician to her (dare I say) gender and how you fancy her. You mentioned nothing of her musical technique, style, or performance. In fact, many here have praised the entire band, which includes her. I don't think anyone here is trying to disenfranchise her in any way--that is all your perception. I believe most of the people here are actual Beatles aficionados and musicians that have demonstrated objectivity and integrity by not gratuitously praising her only because she is female and have respected her by not sexualizing her. Since you pressured us to praise her, I offer this: she should be recognized for having the courage and tenacity to attain this level of guitar playing when most girls her age don't have such an interest. She should also be praised for not hypersexualizing herself like most female artists these days. I think praising anyone because of their sex, gender, race, color, etc. only reveals their own bigotry and their meager attempt to cover it up. For their ages, this performance overall was a good interpretation. I found some of the guitar work a bit sterile to praise, but I can only imagine immense improvement in their technique with a lot more feel if they continue practicing. In all fairness, maybe the guitars would have sounded better if the engineer turned up their gain a little and if they used different effects, e.g., more overdrive. They seemed to be holding back a little. Maybe it's lack of experience, and maybe it just goes to show how difficult it is to capture the feel of the original vocals on an instrument. Instrumental versions like this tend to sound academic. However, kudos to the keyboardist! He should be touring with a band--like NOW! And kudos to the band director who brought this performance together.

It's good, but I get then feeling that you are trying to be as perfect as the original. I detect the slow playing in order to replicate the original notes note for note. Just go with the groove and let yourself feel it, then it will sound better. Most often, timing is better than being in perfect key.

I don’t understand why everyone is talking about the bass player and acting like he did a terrible job. Obviously he didn’t play the isolated bass riff in the pre chorus which is kind of a shame but other than that I see no real issue with what he’s playing. I think everyone did a great job but of course the stand out player was the keyboardist. Great job
