When Emma split that lemon into two, I was like nooooooo... that was some kind of test that Tony had for Emma!

Emma should do whatever she wants with the lemon, she's not a substitute. That was a dumb thing to do from Tony not realizing what he was doing.

I don't think it was a test. They both adult who would've know what they're doing. It's just tony (and lisa's) humor and she just don't get it. Sometime joke land and miss, can't really expect too much of others.

@@reginaphalange9439 Tony was looking for the connection that he had with Lisa. When Emma cut the lemon he realized (again) that he’s not going to get her (and their humor) back. Emma can do whatever she wants, but I don’t think Tony is a criminal for trying to connect again with his wife, Lisa, through Emma, in that moment. He had a great time with his wife doing that and he wants to have a great time with Emma, too. In season 3, he is trying to navigate moving on and then he realizes that maybe moving on is not for him. He will always love Lisa and can’t bear being with anyone else. That’s why Emma and Tony finally decide to stay friends. Emma understands him and wants him to be happy, but also knows that he can’t give her what she needs. That’s the way I saw that scene.

When I was a line cook in a fancy restaurant in Hawaii I would add little rabbit families made from black olive parts on the waitresses employee meals. They woukd giggle and pop one in their mouth and eat them first before they took their plate out of the cooks window. I knew the Rabbit families were just a garnish and they would not live forever, but just the same... 😊

I know where he's at, Cancer took my wife March of 2018 and I still can't see myself with anyone else. It is lonely but we were together over thirty years and all I want is to have her back again and I know that's not possible until I cross over so I guess I'll just have to wait until it's my turn.

Probably an unpopular opinion… I didn’t like the Emma character AT ALL 🙈 At no point did Tony indicate he wanted anything more than friendship from her. I found her rude, unsympathetic, and pushy. Final straw for me, was looking at the video of Lisa on Tony’s laptop. And I CRINGE at the ‘we haven’t even taken a selfie together’ comment 😳 I’m glad they didn’t end up together. Tony accepting he had his ‘big love’ with Lisa, and being content with that was actually nice to see.

She was a pretty pointless character to be honest, Tony had better chemistry with every other female on the show than he did with Emma.

Proof that men and women can't ever be friends without some sort of sexual tension.

I guess its kind of western culture thing. Me as asian (indonesian) sometime more secluded and mannerism in public and it's hard to show "real" affection towards others (even holding hands is just very touchy for me unless under task/pressure). So most of time i guess it's more sexually-repressed (i think)
