Okay...this is going to be a very unpopular opinion. I recently drove the Golden --> Banff route last summer. The first time in nearly 2 decades. I was stunned by how they straightened the highway, carved through mountains (like at 1:36), and built that stunning bridge over the chasm. I was actually really looking forward to the tight, twisted, bending highway that it used to be just outside Golden. I had many thrilling drives through there back in my wandering roadtrip days.

After actually bedding in new brakes using factory recommended procedures, I will NEVER go back to just bedding them in while riding. My brakes feels significantly stronger than they have in the past, on the exact same model. Also, you avoid the chance of getting jittery rotors/braking due to uneven pad material distribution on your rotor..
