Simon should have asked why the contract didn't have a break clause for a failed accredited drug test (clearly Hearn KNEW benn juices!)? 2. Shouldn't Hearn have pulled the fight after he first heard of the failed vada test REGARDLESS of any clauses given the argument of disrepute would easily outweigh any contractual obligation (no fighter would sue his promoter citing disrepute for pulling out in this situation)? 3. Why did VADA superfan Eddie Hearn not tell fans of benn's failed test until the daily mail article (instead deceiving fans and the paying public)? Also if he did immediately after the first failed test, the fight probably would have died within a few days back in August from fan pushback and outrage (making question 2 irrelevant) and saving hearn "£1m." Again it shows his true intention - they wanted this fight to go ahead regardless of drug test results.

Fair play, one thing was clear to me on this. There's a lot more detail that Simon Jordan had no clue of, and he couldn't go past a single minute without resorting to insults about Eddie. He talks about the fact that Eddie thinks it's a conspiracy against him, yet Jordan believes Eddie is ruling boxing manipulatively - which is conspiracy. I expected Eddie to be torn apart here, but it just made Simon look silly when it actually gets down to the facts. He can use as many big words as he wants, but it's just to manage the fact that he makes large assumptions without facts.

Jordan came out swinging looking for that early knockout, Hearn padded most of them down. Simon had him on the ropes a couple of times but Eddie had all the answers, ducking, firing a few back; it left Jordan swinging at midair sometimes but shown great cardio by going at it throughout the bout. A few low blows from both too but well marshalled by Mr White. A decent sparring session for a Tuesday morning
