The Prisma pencils were my favorite find!!! I loved the celadon espresso cups w/the elephants too. But I’d never use them & just don’t have the room for them 💔💔 you did great … I can’t believe the mauve silverware set sold for so much!! 😳😳

Wonderful finds at Hartville Thrift at great prices. So glad you picked up the Czech piece. If you want to use for fresh flowers use a tall deli container as an insert. But it looks pretty with faux or dried flowers. Best Halloween piece with black stems and black roses.

Fantastic finds, Amy. You could always put a straight sided smaller glass vase into a wide mouthed, cracked, older pitcher and use fresh flowers. Wouldn't fresh zinnias look wonderful in that orange one? I have done that in a wooden vase too.

Hi Amy. You might get lucky fixing the crack in the orange pitcher with milk. Just set into a pot and make sure the crack is all covered in milk. There are two approaches from there. 1) let the milk get sour and sit for a few days. 2) Cook and let simmer for about 45 minutes - then let cool (I'm not sure about the heat and the crack though with this one. The first method has been used in my family before. Good luck :)

@@YOSOBOHO Yes it is the casein protein that will separate from the milk and form a potent glue. It´s pretty much the same composition as the skin forming on hot milk when cooling down. I sometimes had that stick to my ceramic milkpot quite stubbornly. Thinking about it the fact that this skin forms on top might also be an argument for rather letting the milk sit and sour since you want the "glue" to sink into the crack rather than floating on top. - Good luck !

Furniture stores used to give keys out to senior girls (tallmadge, class of 81). You could go to the furniture store and see if your key opened a big Lane chest and they would give out the small jewelry boxes as a consolation prize.

TOTALLY agree w/ you about the Prismacolor pencils. Such a great find! I recently pulled out my well loved set from college and decided to see if I could find a new set on eBay. So hard to find my same set with self standing box and they were soooo expensive! Art supplies are always a good pick up. Thanks for sharing Amy!
