I'm watching this episode from my bed in Bklyn, NY. It is Motzei Shabbos at 4:00 AM and I can't sleep. I have stage 4 cancer and I have my doubts about surviving another year. However, after listening to this episode it gives me renewed hope and chizuk that one day I will spread my miracle story too!

Rabbi Kalmus is to be blessed for opening his life and sharing his ongoing battle with clinical depression. His relatability and empathy for people who are struggling is a beautiful middah. Rabbi Kalmus' successful spiritual journey to emotional healing makes a huge Kiddush Hashem and brings real hope for all of us. Writing from Scarsdale, NY

I’m watching from Havelock North, New Zealand, and found David’s story awesome and a true testimony of FAITH in Yahveh God. Since I’ve truly known God of the Torah, I trust Him more day by day. I listened to a Messianic fellow-believer who lives 5 hours drive away, last Erev Shabbat testify to her brother a month ago, in Jakarta, suffer a motor cycle accident aged 51 and die within 48 hours. He’d been unwell with colds/flu for weeks. She was on the phone to him one day, then could not reach him the next, over hours of trying to reach him, feeling cross with him. Next a call comes from an unknown voice. “Hello lady, do you know this man, Ben?” “My brother….” “Well …,accident, off his bike into a deep drain, unconscious, but his phone was open and we are answering your calls. Where do we take your brother?Regina in NZ, thinks quickly, stricken with shock, calls to Yahveh to help her; “send him to his brother… we’ll pay.” Goes in taxi, a long way, (hospital care, ambulances are not an option as in Israel with Magen David Adom, or NZ). He’s unconscious until the following day. Two brothers watch over him in bed, he seems near death, but wakes the next morning, walks to the bathroom and can talk with family. Regina has been praying on the phone to him, (as she did years ago for me on the night I was sickest with Covid). Ben says later that day he needs to go to hospital…. Once there, waiting in the Emergency Department Ben, having walked in, has been talking with each of his two brothers, then says he feels tired, and rests his head on a brother’s shoulder… observed by another waiting patient, she says “he’s gone”. “No, he’s asleep”. She was in fact, right. Medical assessment found him to have a depressed skull fracture…. He’d bought a new cough syrup, that had caused drowsiness, and he’d tragically gone to work… Regina’s last conversation with him had been to encourage him to ask Yeshua to help /heal him….they were a family of Messianic believers. Regina still mourns from NZ, I understand but reassure her of the miracles of the situation, that Ben had all his siblings around him, Regina, the eldest, on Zoom, as he passed into the sleep of death. His phone had been open for a stranger to speak to the one person who could best advise Him.. Yahveh’s hand was surely guiding the best possible outcome for Ben. He’d experienced great losses in his life, wife, child, home, business, I know not why. But this true tale I share with you, is yet only another of the love, goodness and mercy God has for those who call to Him. HaleluYah🕎🕊🌏

Christy, like you, I truly feel Jewish. On one hand there is no need to know, but for the sake of a daughter who understands my deep faith and a son who does not, I believe I should seek to know more with blood testing. Meanwhile I stand firmly with Israel and always shall do. 🙏🏻🇮🇱💙

Listening in yerushalayim. I had a similar experience, severe anxiety, which wasn’t relieved through various medications, therapy, seminars, judaism etc. i grew up religious, and still am, but have real difficulties davening and learning. Through the 12 steps, where I learned that I can’t do it alone, but if i let go, and allow G-d to take control, i can live a normal life. I haven’t been able to connect to breslov or any torah specific approach, and i have regular downs where i fall away from my connection to G-d, and my life slips backwards, and i have to find G-d again.
