The Cramps used to play San Francisco every Halloween when I lived there. I saw them a handful of times and they were always amazing

Saw the Cramps live in London during the "Big Beat from Badsville" tour. The gig started fairly calmly, but when they started playing the old ones, amongst which was this one (Harry Drumdini pulled a pair of "bones" for drumsticks for it)... Ooooh boy the crowd went WILD and cans of beer rained on stage as a token of appreciation from the fans. What a night. The Cramps ALWAYS delivered.

Thank you very much for this. Saw them in London in 86 or 87 (yes I’m old) on a trip over from the states. Appreciate you keeping their unique energy and sound going.

Haha, one of the first riffs I played as a junior player. I remember clearly that rockabilly fan I was hanging with showing me what a B7 was, with these words : « you’ll meet that chord EVERYWHERE » :-)

Pretty much "Rumble" by Link Wray and Mystery Plane gets ripped off [or synchronistically developed, idk] by Misfits in American Nightmare. So fun [annnnnd, allll the Cramps songs started as Rockabilly tunes. There was a collection of songs that showcased them called "BORN BAD". Happy hunting, fellow fiends] It's a gas!! [yo] Enjoy the blood tea in the mean[grrrr] time!

Dumb question… do the Brits celebrate Halloween, or is it just an American thing?
@chriswarehamАй бұрын
As a goth I've always celebrated it, but in recent years the "trick or treat" thing from the US has become really popular.
