Been to mandera for 4 months i worked there .in the first months I was so afraid but with time I was okay my parents were not okay with me working there so I had to come back .I learnt alot there .that was in 2021 I went by bus ..and staying there needs grace

It takes courage to go to Mandera and further more border point 1 (BP1), i tend to think that what made you to get arrested is that the security team there thought you're surveilling the place. The best thing to do while in the North is to go to the police station and meet the OCPD and brief him why you're there and that you would like to take some photos or videos around the town. Thank God that HE gave you a calm and unsuspecting nature that's what saved you from Police interrogation and the KDF. The reason why the land cruisers or the buses couldn't allow you to board on them is because flags had been raised on you and the intelligence services were watching you.
