PLZ, react to Larkin Poe singing their song called Mad As a Hatter live at The Covenant House. Bluesy slide guitar, funky feeling and she wails like an angel. I put it on Repeat for 4 days straight when i 1st heard it. I can’t hear it too much. It’s about mental health, with an Alice in Wonderland sleight to it. To top it all off, they’re Edgar Allen Poe’s great great great great grandkids!!! Are they awesome?!!! Quote the Raven, Forevermore!!!!

No lip-synching here. This was totally live. The only times he lip-synched was in his movies. When he was in front of a live audience, he never lip-synched at all ever. He didn't need to.

The Ed Sullivan show wasn't taped. His performances are legend. That's his genius. Electrifying. For his movies it's slightly different. There's no lipsynching in the movies. Not exactly. You go into the studio. You pre-record just the audio tracks for the sake of sound quality . When you go to the film stage, you actually do sing out loud, just like in the audio studio.

Boomer here. I watched this live performance and he never lipsynched anything. I went to 3 of his concerts and he was just that good. I've been an Elvis fanatic for 65 years. I even have this record in a 45 single but the center of it has the little 33 size hole. I have hundreds of records and "Love Me Tender" is the only record I have like this. I played it so much that it started to get scratchy. I remember crying because of it. He will always be the king, forever in my heart ❤️ 👑.

I think he had more charisma than anyone ever!!! I loved him and still do! I play his vinyl records all of the time. They never get old! Crazy Over Elvis! One thing that is not mentioned enough, is what a wonderful humanitarian that he was! He actually gave away much more than he kept for himself! What a wonderful man!

I watched a voice coach who explained how Elvis's voice couldn't be autotuned. The computer couldn't keep up with all the different little things that made his voice unique. I can try to find it for you, if you're interested.
@robindehlinger4698 Жыл бұрын
There was no such thing as auto tune when Elvis was alive. Also, this song was written for a movie. Elvis’s character sang the song to his bride.

@Robin Dehlinger Yes ma'am. I'm well aware of that, this voice coach was conducting an "experiment" (I suspect for the idiots who don't believe that God could assemble such a perfect instrument). And, we know, God can move mountains, if He wants to, and Elvis even sang a song about those mountains.
@sheliaspringer7389 Жыл бұрын
I also watched a voice expert that analyzed voices and have seen several different ones! ELVIS' voice was the ONLY one that could never be autotuned! It was amazing watching his variation of notes and key rises! Every single artist today uses anything they can that will give them a voice, although it is a farce! They have NO talent! Ohhh! Too bad that they were not alive to witness a true talent...a true STAR! ELVIS!!!

Funny to fast forward Elvis' costumes, etc. The man was incredible. Because I have seen you react to Led Zep, Robert Plant loved Elvis. He was very young. He picked up a few moves from Elvis. One of their tours, Elvis invited them to his show and after party. Robert and the rest of the band met Elvis at the after party. Right at the beginning, as Elvis had just begun to sing, you will see him cupping his hand to his ear, to check that he was in tune, as the musicians were pretty loud. If he had been lip synching to a record, there would have been no need for him to do that. Elvis was said to have sounded just as good when performing life, as he sounded on record, & I have seen original footage of him rehearsing in the studio of RCA, & his voice is as good as any record of his that I have heard.

He became a military chaplain. Not a doctor. Not a lawyer. We had nothing for the first ten years of our marriage. We've been married 43 years. I married him because he was a kind man, a spiritual man who cared about others, a man of true honesty and integrity and those things still apply to him today. And, I was the cute girl that never had to worry about attracting a guy. I could have married the money, but I chose to marry a decent human being.
