Dimash is the only person about whom one can comfortably - and justifiably - say that he's "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!! He has dimashified so many men as well as women. He doesn't just "sell" a song, he inhabits each and every one.

❗Igor Krutoy, Ukrainian, Russian billionaire, maestro composer saw him in performance and came out of semi retirement to compose for and mentor him, saying in a later interview, there was NOTHING out there for him to sing ! Nothing that would showcase his talent and abilities, "if I didn't, who would ?" He mentored and composed for one other, the famed Lara Fabian. All three have collaberated for years, Igor usually accompanying him on his compositions.

Please, please don't get stuck in the mindset that a lot of reactors do, thinking that Dimash is only operatic or neo classical. He's renowned for his ability to sing in all genres. His career started with him being marketed in China as a pop singer, yes, Igor pulled him in to neo classical but he doesn't rely on his high range and there's a lot of really, really good songs where he stays well within a 2 octave range. He's been working in the jazz and blues genres for the past few months and I'm pretty sure the new song that's due out soon is going to surprise us yet again.

I think a part of Dimash's appeal, apart from the blindingly obvious, is the fact he refuses to be pigeonholed into any particular music genre. One could say the Dimash is his own genre.
@hitomiochiai87876 ай бұрын
He is an ambassador of peace, acceptance of everyone, and a genuinely a nice human being. And that is Igor Krutoy. Alla Pugacheva is the original singer, that performance was in dedication to her. FYI, her version sounds nothing like Dimash's. Dimash has done modeling. Come on, he's 6 foot 3, handsome man, of course he's done modeling.
@skirk91846 ай бұрын
Dimash is not so calculated. He has an idea of the songs slant...but his movements are natural and involuntary. He literally puts himself inside the song. You can't separate the soul from the music or its just an act....not art. The blueprint to authenticity only exists with God. Dimash is very comfortable in his skin. He's naturally calm and rooted. It can appear to be 100% staged. Of course there is a measure of control and preconception. But once the music starts...his soul if free to express within his designated creative perimeters. Some songs more than others. Without that authenticity, he could not touch people the way he does.

I'm like the "Jehovah's Witness" of Dimash!! I tell anyone and everyone who will listen about him! I am in Florida and have been listening to him since 2019! He really needs to get popular here. Unfortunately, sometimes American taste in music isn't as sophisticated as Dimash is. Some people I've introduced his music to love it, many, however, are like ...."oh yeah, he's got a great voice and talent, but I wouldn't listen to his music." What??? What's the matter with these people?? No taste!! He's basically the only artist I listen to! 🎶❤️🎶❤️

US seems to be obsessed with "cookie cutter" music that sounds the same and does not require a person to have a brain to feel anything as emotion or grandness in music; that description does not cover all in the US as DIMASH does have a large fan following, so there are exceptions to my statement and thank God for those who have a soul and get DIMASH's music.

We all know how magnificent Dimash is with his huge vocal range, impressive runs etc but the true test is if he can sing a simple melody, no extremes, and still draw you in. He can certainly do that. Check out a song called Quaragym-ai. The best version is where he is in an empty theatre, on stage with a pianist. Both he and Dimash were students of a man called Keynes. Kenes died from covid and these two wanted to pay their respects and perform a song by Keynes. It is heartbreaking to watch Dimash, who is in a lot of pain through sadness. It is stunning.. another quiet song, like a prayer, is Amanat from the digital show. Dimash doesn’t need the fireworks to get your attention.

Not to worry, while millions of women are fluttering their eyes hoping to catch swaggy Dimash, not likely any of them will be the ONE. That leaves a lot of women leftover to be captured and consoled😏🤣😂😉 I suspect the love from Igor Krutoy is because Dimash is doing such a good job showing off Igor's beautiful composition. If Igor is on piano, he is the composer.😃 Shocking that you have not chosen a single Pop song yet. I recommend Screaming Idol Hits or Digital Concert. Around 25 years ago I was at concert for Alla Pugachova and her signature song is the same one you just reacted to composed by Igor Krutoy the man on the piano with DIMASH. I am certain igor got DIMASH to participate in this celebration of her music career and to perform her song. When I heard DIMASH sing it , I was blown away and fell in love with the version DIMASH did.. Over the years I had listened to Alla on a Cd I bought of her best songs; but I only listen to DIMASH any more to sing this song; he has a way of doing covers of great songs and making them his own; I think DMASH is aware of that and does not often perform the covers as he does not wish to create a problem as he is just a great human being and respectful of others.

Igor Krutoy, and yes I love the word "bamboozled."
@deborahwilliamson21736 ай бұрын
The name you tried to pronounce, was a female who originally sang this song. It was composed by Igor Krutoy, who then rearranged it for Dimash to sing. I wish you had turned on the cc for the English subtitles because the words are something every woman would want to hear. However, if he is singing in Russian or Kazakh, it just sounds so much better than in English...sexy. Igor always looks at Dimash like a loving father. After all, he came out of retirement to compose music for Dimash after hearing him sing "Sinful Passion." MJ is one of Dimash's idols, and he seems to incorporate a little of MJ when he performs. He even did a tribute to Michael Jackson during one of his concerts and said sometimes he feels like MJ is on the stage with him. Dimash was like 15 or 16 when MJ passed away, but, can imagine the two of them on stage together. Dimash has a MV that seems like he is channeling MJ. I'm with you. It's a close call between this video and Ikanaide. Thanks again for the video and for not being ashamed to admit that you were "bamboozled." It is cool to say.

A lot of his ballads, every new one is a new favorite! 😂 But I realized that I listen to his cover of "The Love of Tired Swans," the most, so that is my favorite. I'm so glad you got to this performance. It's my favorite, just ahead of Ikanaide and Samaltau, and a dozen other faves. The reason Dimash isn't as well known in the US as he should be is that he won't sign any management or recording contracts with anyone. He keeps total artistic control over his work, and his father is his manager, making sure all his concerts go like clockwork, and he is never cheated in any way. I see someone told you that Igor Krutoy complosed this song for Alla Pugacheva in the year Dimash was born. Igor and Alla were the Burt Bachrach and Whitney Houston (totally dominated Pop music in the 1970s in the US) of Russia in the 1990s. They both became very wealthy and were an item for a long time. Igor retired until he saw Dimash perform "Sinful Passion," after which he immediately contacted Dimash's father and said he wanted to compose for Dimash. Check out the Sochi performance. They've worked together since then. This event was a 75th Birthday Gala for Alla, and Dimash did her honor with this performance. Glad to see that you've turned into a true "Dear." Carol in Boston

This was a cover of Igor Krutoy's song premiered in 1990 or so by the great and only ALLA PUGACHOVA, a storm of passion on the stages, the Prima donna of Russia who standed her gound against Putin about the Russian invasion to Ukraine. They performed at the "A gift for Alla." concert for the anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow 10:16 This was the first time most people heard his, now, well known angelic melismas that were called his “MariahCareys” or his “avemarias” by non music specialised reactors. Love & Life is like a DREAM🫠 As a child I thought Walt Disney’s world was the DREAM I wanted to live in 🤗🧚🏻🏰🎠🎢💖 As a adult it’s the realized DREAM of Dimash’s world I’m grateful to be living in 🤗🎶🕺🏻🎤🎹💝 This is a Igor Krutoy song 🎼🫠 I can only imagine how he feels to have Dimash singing his songs so beautifully. He’s such a Good Friend sitting at the piano 🎹 💕😁💖🎶😎💝 ❤️2U&2ALLU❤️🦌🦌💫🌎🕊️🇺🇸
