A lot of people seem to be trying to turn this into a case of “special KZbinr treatment,” but as I mentioned in the video, everyone else in my situation was unbanned today as well. I may have received a slightly earlier reply than some, but I can assure you I was also working extremely hard to get that reply. The staff team was already under immense pressure that day trying to fix performance issues on the server so a massive inflation bug like this just created even more chaos. I personally feel that given the circumstances they went above and beyond to do their very best to protect all players. Rather than using this as a moment to criticize their ban system I think we should be using it as a moment to praise their hard work and dedication to the playerbase.

I also got banned for account boosting. Here’s the story my friend wanted me to buy a aspect of the dragons for him because he was missing 2 mil for it. I gave him 2 mil and about a week later I’m banned for 90 days during the summer. I created an appeal. Ofc the turn it down. Price boosting has been a huge problem on the server but it kinda began with Hypixel's unique way of doing skyblock. Usually on a skyblock server, there's many season where everything get reset so player don't usually need to rush to the end as it will get reset eventually but with Hypixel, they said they won't reset anything so getting to the end as fast as possible is sort of important which is why people profile boost. But I mean if you don't want people to boost then just remove profiles or add resets (which likely won't happen). Removing profiles might be dumb as older players might want to start out fresh but there isn't really other solution. Feel like they should put profile boosting aside (it's still a problem but it can be delayed) and focus on macros as profile boosting don't usually cause as much damage as like a bug or hacks.

I joined this flawed server way back when multiplayer Herobrine's Mansion was still a thing. More specifically I joined early August of 2013 which was one of my first ever servers to play on. I kind of stopped playing Hypixel for a little bit because I got a little bored after playing the maps over and over again whilst playing VampireZ, which had tens of thousands of players on it hourly compared to now. Some time passed through months of playing, I tried to log on sometime in 2015, I want to say, and I was banned for ABSOLUTELY no reason. There was no reason listed on the ban and I was pissed. I quit the server and stormed through my room as a kid. I hated it all the way until I appealed, because of newer friends, back in late December of 2019. I could have had a 6-Year badge. I could have joined skyblock when it released. I could have seen all the updates that came through Hypixel. I was just too upset with that one ban that still burns within me to this day. Of course I've seen many improvements since I came back on in regards to admins, anti-cheat, etc. But after seeing this, I feel as if no one is safe when they make even the slightest of moves.

My friend was banned recently because of profile boosting. While he was streaming someone in his chat told him to put an item up on the auction house so he did. That person then put 250 million in duped coins on the item. My friend didn’t know that it was duped money so he spent it. When he learned that it was duped money he spent a bunch of it on stupid stuff and said during the stream “If hypixel staff is watching this, pleas roll me back.” He ended up getting banned for 3 months and wiped. When he submitted a ban appeal with evidence from the VOD that he was innocent and claimed the money before he knew it was duped, hypixel staff rejected it.

I decided to delete my other profile I never played on, with the help of a friend I transferred the stuff, ender armor a supercompactor earlier that day and some other low value stuff. Logged in a couple of hours later to try and get splashed (public splash server) and I was met by the same message. Appealed and no answer back yet. Losing all my progress from playing hours everyday on that server, thanks. I’m still waiting for someone to read my appeal but I doubt they will do anything, i’m just a random mvp+ player who would care about me? Haven’t played on hypixel since except some bedwars on alts.

This is the only time I agree a with the nons on the forums with, the staff treat yt ranks like gods. I spent 7 hours grinding tarantula bosses only to get banned for using an auto clicker called using two mice and being ambidextrous. I had to wait out 30 days because of automated appeal responses

I’ve reviewed the rules hundreds of times, and they don’t allow the use of 3rd party resources, when afk. I was doing slayer, and wasn’t afk

This is the thing that really upsets me, how little people actually read the rules. I had a public thread about my situation but instead of people realizing this was false, it was a bunch of bozos saying the use of external resources aren’t allowed, and didn’t double check what section they were even looking at! I was clearly not afk, and was actively playing while clicking fast. I still don’t understand why I was banned, nothing I did was against the rules on hypixel.net/rules.
