I’ve seen the same issue with scalp massaging brands! They would take clips from someone I knew was using a vanity planet scalp massager and inserted it into their video advertising their dupe product. Research is a must !

The EZ DETANGLER BRUSH IS NOT MADE IN THE US!!!! ITS FROM CHINA!!!!!! Look up drop shipping. The same brush was found last year on AliExpress for like $2-$5. But of course now the price went up. You can find the brush on Amazon as well in different colors. I got a black and purple one for $11 free shipping. These companies are shady AF out here.

@@KenzieKenz That's true. I feel like they might be "Black owned" because a lot of these "black small shops/businesses" do drop shipping and make it look like their own. Sad but true. But hopefully you can get a team together and y'all can take em down. I know you can't be the only one that they crossed.

Felicia’s brush is very very similar to a horse brush that came out first. That brush costs about a 1.50$. So EZ detangler didn’t rip her off. However they shouldn’t have stolen your image. That is very crappy. It makes no sense that they needed to steal when they have so many real reviews about their product.

do you happen to have a link or name for that brush? I'd love to look it up! And you're right! I feel like the fact that they blocked me was an admission of wrong doing on their part. I'm not sure about the other brush but I know Felicia's brush popularized that design on a bigger level. Regardless, everyone needs to be giving credit where it's due! thank you for watching!

I wish the Felicia leatherwood brush was easily available to us that live in Europe. I type in FL brush in Amazon and the EZ detangler brush comes up bearing all types of names/labels. Maybe the owner can do something about accessibility. I refuse to buy the EZ detangler because I know the story behind their brand and I want to support black brands.

You might be able to do a reverse address search to find out if the owner of the company is linked to that address. I got blocked from ShopCZ for speaking out about them selling Chinese sized clothing masquerading as US sizes. Sometimes, it be like that lol. Shady businesses don’t want you blasting the truth.

They say they are, but I don't believe they are a Black-Owned company. I'm highly annoyed that not only are they further causing a bad rep for Black-Owned businesses under the guise that they are Black (there's already a negative narrative about Black-Owned businesses). The nerve of them. Interestingly, they didn't choose to be a non-Black business. I think they are Asian based. You weren't being shady by being honest about what brush you were actually using. They should have double-checked to make sure that you were using their brush. And if they were all about giving credit, they should have asked to use your content to promote their brush. On top of that, I don't completely believe they got permission nor checked that every brush from every 'user' was actually the EZ Detangler. So many companies sell the brush; you can get them at Aliexpress for dirt cheap or on Amazon. The way this company uses people's content to falsely advertise their product remind me of the many hair companies that uses pictures of people with real natural hair to promote their units and pieces. The dishonesty is so digusting. *Note: It's also interesting that they got 5/5 star reviews on their site, but they got 1 star reviews of their site on the Better Business Bureau site. This company is so fake. I would not encourage anyone to buy from this brand. I recommend folks either get a different brush/comb or buy a cheap dupe of the EZ Detangler from Aliexpress. At least we know where Aliexpress items come from (they don't lie about that).

I have the ez detangler brush but I only received it because it was apart of a bundle that a black owned edge control company sold. The brush does it’s job and does it well! But it’s disheartening to hear that it might not be black owned and that it’s stealing videos and pretending that it’s their product.🤭
