But you know me some of the pictures you showed at the beginning, I'm like hell yeah I dig that😊 we have to say it reminds me of like a Pasha and harems and that kind of things I let the romance novels can you tell LMAO. Yeh I'd definitely enjoy going to places or seeing a full morrocan traditional space! I still like it, but I wanted something a bit different and unique to us 🥰 Are your windows in the US typically smaller than the one I showed? You guys generally have massive everything haha

@@liyanalife yeah there's some windows that are like that we have two sets of French doors in our living room plus four of the 3 ft by 7 ft windows so we got a lot of looking out space. But yours looked so inviting. You did yours in a subtle but not in your face then I really like it a lot especially the pork thing and then the white piece that had like the court design on it but it was on the wall. I was born in age of hippies and so all that Moroccan stuff really stands out older people like me LOL big hugs 2 you and mister man

Beautiful transformation. I love how youve re-purposed items too and made it your own. Ive done a morrocan theme at my mums house and had some Beautiful morrocan cushion covers from shein £2 each. Scatter cushions on your sofa will look amazing with what youve already done there. Keep up the good work ❤ 😊xx

Absolutely stunning !!! Well done both of you 👏🏻👏🏻 love it all, i know you dont like the carpet but it is perfect for that room. Are the floors wooden ? You could put a carpet tack on each corner of the rug to keep it down and not ruffle up. Adore the lamp and the coffee table everything is just so put together. You should be so proud of yourselves, what do your cats think of it? I imagine they love the windowsill now.! The camel in your terranium is super cute 🐫. As i said just amazing Liyana xx 🤗

Thank you Maxine! No idea about the floor. Yes thankfully the carpet worked in the room! You remember another reason I don't like the carpet colour is because I can't see spiders 🤣🤣😅 Ooh I shall look into carpet tack 👀 Thank you so much for enjoying! We're just kinda glad to see the end of the project 🤣😅 it's now my favourite place in the house 🥰😇 leo loves rolling around on the rug and sleeping on the ottoman. Thanks so much! 😊 I love that you love it! ❤️ I just felt like the doors needed something in this room 😌 especially as it was so visible. I wanted to make sure there was a balance though, it could easily be overdone, hence why I painted the ones on the door white to blend in more.

Oh wow! What a fabulous transformation… You guys! How brilliant and how gorgeous that terrarium coffee table is! I love how the entry curtain is pulled to the side, allowing a glimpse of a room, so cozy, relaxing, aesthetically, stunning. And how you used laser to make designs is just mine boggling. You should send this video to a home decor/decorating magazine. It just came out so gorgeous that I am sure you can make some money doing other peoples homes as interior decorators. I did want somewhere that's relaxing 😌 and inviting as well as cosy so you are right about that, even noticing how I placed the curtain. So glad I didn't leave the big brown door on! In one way I'm scared to do another transformation or when we own our own home just because how slow it was and how long it took, as well as how much kept thinking about everything 🤣 in another way I'm excited to see what more I can do and how much I can transform a space ☺️😍 much love to you ❤️ ♥️ 💕

You and your hubby did such a wonderful job on this room! I adore that window! One of the things that makes formerly industrial buildings wonderful for residential use is that they often have larger windows and better light than your average house or apartment. There are so many lovely details that you created (too numerous to list), but I think my favorite part is the corner chair with the basket-like fixture overhead, and the fountain nearby. What a perfect place to read a book or snooze or just soak in the light. I'm curious. Since you didn't formally study interior design, what did you study at university? Also, it sounds like a container garden is what might work for you. You won't have to worry about the soil you have and then you can take them with you if you move. A friend of mine has such a lovely garden that you would never suspect was made purely of contained plantings.

Yes! I wanted one! I thought it was the perfect enclosure! Hubby said no 😭 I've never had one before and was worried how the cats would be with him & if I'd manage more on my plate lol. It's still an option for future!

Wow, you two did such a beautiful job! So welcoming! I don't know if you've done the carpet tape yet but it can be a nightmare sometimes. It can really be sticky on the carpet and be impossible to remove. I had it so stuck to my floors. I would maybe try descret staples. Easy to remove.😊

Thank you! 💕 the rug was a good price from Amazon. You know I'm a bargain hunter! Didn't pay for much at all in the room 🥰 the water feature was indoor / outdoor. I've always wanted one, they're so expensive though! So I had to settle with a smaller one and just added height to it. Looked much more expensive after I painted it though!

I have to say, you have both done an amazing job with this room. WOW! It is beautiful, has a very calm relaxing atmosphere. My living room & kitchen are one large area, it’s a new house and it’s nice don’t get me wrong but it lacks character. Im now in a wheelchair & can’t do a lot of the things I used to so I have to rely on my Husband & Son to turn my ideas into reality so to speak.This has so much character. Im going to come up with a mood board, the inspiration here has given me a bit of a spirt to take me time and really think about it. Ty👋🏻🫶🏻
