@kevinm68852 жыл бұрын
@@colonelJ77 I was thinking the same thing. If you're driving 700+ feet, be a little bit humbler or just lay into the ego thing. I'd respect the humbleness and I'd think being overly-egotistical would be hilarious. Being somewhere in-between isn't a good look as he seems like he's fighting to urge to shit on the guy.
@Scrumdawgrizzillionaire2 ай бұрын
@@colonelJ77 I mean it’s okay to have a bit of pride around being extremely good at something nothing wrong with a little bit of that energy especially when he matches it with being very humble at other times. I mean he gave his trophy from the glitch tournament to the kid who tied him for first even though he won the tiebreaker. Pretty cool move if you ask me.
@brandonstevens183222 күн бұрын
@@Scrumdawgrizzillionaire It's okay to have pride but bro was legit "you throw far, but I'm like way further" and "No one throws further than me". I like Simon a lot, but he's definitely chilled since his earlier videos. I'd agree with Kevin. Lay into being the heel ( for humor) or be a bit more humbler. This was pretty cringe to watch and bordered on autofellatio.. and again, I love Simon. The tournament disc thing.. I mean. What adult would tie a child, beat him, and keep the disc? Good move by Simon. I think most viewers would've lost respect had he not done something given the stature he has over a random kid wanting to live his dream. Simon showed a lot of maturity. But again.. people will hate on him because he made it a public thing on social media - that doesn't bother me at all. It's not like he's going around doing "giving money to homeless people + bragging about it on video". He's a class act these days.

He's more talking about the mechanics and flight characteristics. If you start young you've found your stroke and it can look effortless throwing. It's the same for older throwers, you just gotta put in the field work. I started at 39, this May will be 3 years. I've not measured field shots recently but I can park 350' holes with a Leo3 on a shot like they're throwing here. And a few days ago parked a 450' hole with a Flippy Boss on a hyzer flip to turnover shot that they're throwing. You can do it👍

I'll be honest, if you're throwing 400-ish ft into these "somewhat normal" conditions, you'll probably push close to 475. I also believe Nick has thrown over 600ft without wind aid. So not hitting 600 with a perfect wind was disappointing. He could've pushed 700ft but didn't hit the right angle.
