Being in the crowd and seeing this happen and then watching the video two days later is incredible for us as fans! We love to see the good, the bad, the ugly even when we are in the stands 10 rows up. You’ve made your staple here in southern Oregon man! So many kids and families running around with you and Carly’s apparel on and talking about how they are so excited to see you race. You’re paving the way for generations to come man! Congrats! 👊🏼

Tanner! I knew with the description this was going to be great! This IS THE BEST I’ve seen you drive!!! You need more of this. I feel like if you go into these races with that mentality you’ll win a lot more races! Much love from Texas!

Considering where you had to recover from after the brush up, you did excellent man. Could you also mention where your sister finishes when you race together like this. Also, I hope when you have a little tangle and its not clear who (if anybody) is at fault, you go over after the race and shake hands, just to diffuse any tension and to be a good sport. You're a very fair and clean driver Tanner. You earn every inch you gain.

Even the most comfortable track you like, can bite you sometimes. This reminds you it's dirt car racing. When you are your worst critic, and everyone saying oh good job, or get um next time, your showing the champion in you, by that not happening again. Just remember, it is racing, nothing is a givin. That's why there's cars on open trailers, racing with what they got. They have room for trophy's too! Awesome show, Awesome team 18T and 22C promoted this venue, and it showed. Thanks.

That was a Helluvarun Tanner you basically showed every one there that you had the car to beat with coming through the field twice. I think if you had just a couple 2 or 3 more laps you could've finished 1st but hey like we all say that is racing. That was also some pretty nice almost perfectly synchronized 360°'s that you did with that other car what's even cooler was that it didn't bring out the yellow Great job to you and the other driver in that. Thanks for sharing this video with us. I'm already looking forward to seeing that night from Carly's perspective. I hope that the steering components are all good on the 18t. May y'all have a good one. Have fun take care

i was gonna say maybe you should leave them emotions in the hauler.. but from the back to 2nd (and yea a better start woulda got you a win) idk man... maybe you should drive a little pissed more often.. good job T you showed 'em.. don't be bummed. you're getting there.

Really a great run for being in that dust up. When I was driving my sister used to help in the pits. I wasn't a very good qualifier. One night I was waiting to be pushed off and my sister had my helmet. Chuck Weyant, a local racing hero, told my sister to reach over and slap the snot out of me, jam my helmet on and have them push me off. He said a pissed off driver drives harder.

Watching that last restart you could see the air-o-push you could see the front come up on a slick track. As far as that crash why did the one car move up on you in the middle of the strait, did he not see you.?. As far as the right rear that looked good all the way across for ware. The only other thing is you needed to take some gear out so you didn't just blow the tires off when you hammer it.

The 21 did nothing wrong, that was just a slider pulled off well. I'm not sure where the 22 was going. Even if you hadn't checked up a little, he was still driving it to the wall, and you are going to be there. I can only assume he never knew you were there or anticipated you to clear the 21 and he was going to slot in 3rd in that line. Either way, it was a great job to get up to 2nd and maybe the win if there had been a few more laps. Another note: you can see the tire marks on the outrigger bars from when you got hit. Showing a safety feature at work.

That track has struggled for a car count for years. It’s hard to want to race for 1000.00 to win when it cost 900 to unload the car with tires, fuel, pit passes. But it’s my home track and I will always have good memories racing and watching good racing there.

Tanner just trying to figure out why run this race? It's high risk for low reward. I think you would be better served to just rent the track for the day and try different setups. I feel that you were way better than the competition. Glad you didn't trash the car.
@MartinRacing10TRB Жыл бұрын
Track times always valuable no matter what. He’s also trying to help grow the car count this is how you do it.
@dougmoore3579 Жыл бұрын
@@MartinRacing10TRB well that's all great but tanner has raced in the chilly bowl and a lot of other great races. Some are national shows and others are local. Tanner is grown and can answer for himself. He simply ran a bad race with nothing to prove, even if he won. Go after the big boys in the midwest if this is your choice for a career.
@fresnokidsr Жыл бұрын
Because it's Home. Like Tanner says "it's always good to race at home" No matter the outcome. Of course you always wanna win in front of your friends and family that can't follow you to other tracks

13:22 Who is ahead of you? Isn't that Carli #22? If so, she yanked your chain on that restart. What is the Holmes family thinking? When they have a superstar in the making. Carli doesn't have 1/10 of Tanner's experience. With lesser equipment. Bounces back from serious injury. And beats Tanner with authority. Time to cut your Tanner losses and invest in Carli's future and predominance.
@themanironmask Жыл бұрын
At some point you're going to have to invest your own money or hopefully get a full ride to race with better competition. These small down drivers aren't who you need to be going up against right now to grown in the sport. Hopefully you can get with the all stars or WoO very soon on a full ride.
