As I know irl the drivers in wet conditions stay away from the curbs and white lines beacuse they are very slipery. Is it not that way in the game?

What I feel from this game is (that fits best my driving style): From quali setup, for full race, 3 more clicks if starting in hards, 2 for medium, 1 for softs. After pitting: 1 less click if next tyre is softer (for example, from hards to mediums), maintain if harder (from softs to mediums). Also agressive downshifts (for nose fast turning) fast followed by upshift(s) till forth gear (for good exit grip) help a lot

I don’t know what you mean by the timing tower obstructing your view, but if you mean the positions on the left you do know you can change that in the on screen display. Other than that i didn’t quite understand what you meant.
