Having to find out what was a check is a really cool way of making a rando more interesting, I'd love to see adef cook up more cursed seeds for this kind of thing. He talked about possibly hand placing items and that would be really interesting to see pulled off. Also get that bag king.

Hand picking bosses would be cool too. I was thinking a interesting idea would to have the dragons for greyll dragonbarrow in dragon Barrow be a boss instead, then you could turn greyll either invincible or make him elden beast with greylls health. That way that can't cheese him with status. But I dont know if it's something that you can do.

New concept for a video that you could totally do is to get your friends to place the key items inside of an archipelago seed for you to figure out Maybe it could be set up like an escape room where you are forced to use glitches to get to certain locations where the key items might be located Basically your friends could setup a randomizer with a specific path youd have to take to complete it This would be perfect if you could randomize certain quest progression points too like the radahn check to access dlc or morgotts death to access the rold lift

LMAO your challenges for hints are my general interests! I’m dead. I put hundreds upon HUNDREDS of hours on Reach matchmaking and custom games on the 360 and again on the MCC. Cookie Monster, jump rope, sword tournament, grifball - all of it! Same thing with chess. When I’m not watching Elden Ring videos I’m probably watching Gotham or Hikaru. This was different because I didn't know what was required to progress, or where to even check to get the required items to progress. So I had to test things out and figure it out along the way compared to knowing generally what the optimal places/bosses are to check to proceed

Oh does rando just count any death at the bottom of Raya Lucaria to be a warp to manor? I thought the enemy had to kill you for that. Last time I was doing this along with fog gate rando so I wanted to know where I'd go, but it was a little flower at the bottom, so I thought it had to kill me but just with it's attacks and not with the poison, cause I thought wouldn't count it as it's kill, didn't know just any death does it.

Yeah any death should work. I think very early on in the rando though, it would actually need to be a hit from the enemy to trigger it. I had the same interaction with a flower and poison didn't work back then lol
