That’s so sweet of you, Mr. Chaney! I’m sort of new to KZbin and figured folks like Dr. Creepen generate revenue when we give “thumbs up.” I have heard channel operators talk about having patreon (don’t know how that works) and I’ve I used the chat to donate to a channel for the first time yesterday BUT that channel is tied to a “foundation.” All that to say, I’ll definitely try to pay Dr. Creepen and a few of the other channels “something” when I can! I’m unemployed right now and Dr. Creepen is one of my sole avenues of entertainment!

Greg, you sold your Chris Craft? AllTeak, or a blended hull? My Uncle had one for awhile some years back. Although I couldn’t afford it, I’d LOVE one of my own. Even though it’s Kinda difficult to get much boating done in NYC, but where my folks house is (Charleston) it’s right on the water in SC. But if you’re able to part with a boat of such beauty, I’d say that the proceeds can easily justify a bill to our Resident Dr. I mean, he still makes house calls. You’re a good man Greg. I understand why you must sell it. It’s probably as heartbreaking for you as not being able to have one is to me!

Is that Sophia for real? She’s actually thinking they’re planning to kidnap her? No way, she wanted a reason to run out and that sparks more curiosity....aso, so both Andrew who the creature looked so much like, and the brand new Sophia, just disappeared? Well, even scary cryptids need love.

I love this theory because it solves the problem of Sophia being so unbelievable, but how would you explain seeing the monster under Andrew at the same time.

I love the stories that take place in forests/woods/etc. Thank you, Doc. You're the best my dude. EDIT - Man this one is really, really good, and a great, non-definitive ending. This was really well done. Props to Creep, and props to the writer! 2nd Edit - I'm continuously coming back to this one, and "Lost on the forests of Tennessee" all the time. Hands down my favorites. Listen to one or the other almost daily.

@@DrCreepen Recently re-listened to The Forest Gate story at work today, and man.... It's hard to get hooked into stories from other YT storytellers, but the way you talk/read, the tone, the flow of the sentences, I'm not sure the word for it, but it's so good. It's not the same monotone voice for every sentence as some other readers on YT, nor is it boring/trying too hard to be spooky, with you it comes out naturally. You bring these stories to life, and I get so enthralled in them because of that. Thanks again, it really helps pass the time at my job, and basically anywhere else.

Scary thing is, there really is something like this out there. 2 out of 4 times it had yellowish green eyes, with a drop of Mercury swirling in it. Pitch black. Seen them go from a buck to a bear walking on 2 legs. Aaa k9 walking across a freshly plowed field, finding no k9 like tracks, even though I could find quail and deer tracks all over in the soft soil. 1 time it was just switch animal shapes and mimic the animal sounds. Thought I was losing it but I noticed my dog was tracing the sounds and movement too. I just call them the spirit of the woods, others have called them elementals.

Good story, biggest gripe was the 'twist' mostly because, I mean, there was nothing stopping the creatures from entering society before. Especially since there was the implication that they were there before the Narrator applied the job. They would have logically 'mimicked' someone long before due to the disappearances.

Safe words would have been a good idea. Armchair monsters are easy to solve. In '87 saw a BIG black panther jump up onto the over pass on a misty Apr night about 11p on I94 coming into Madison WI heading East. Kids asleep in the back. Next exit I jogged around the car a couple times poured a large coffee for more driving. Next month Mr Patriot got home from the same trip and said "you know the BIG cat you saw? I saw it too about the same place. Sorry I laughed."

Well, if it’s an actual cryptid, possibly covered with hair/fur, it could light its ass up. Or I suppose it could also (to a human) burn through outer layers of clothing yet not burning it’s way out, and scorching the flesh. I haven’t seen the videos, but now you’ve got my interest!
