Your resilience is amazing. I can’t imagine going through what you did, but the fact that you’ve come out the other side building something as huge as a house is so inspiring. It’s a reminder that setbacks don’t define us-our persistence does.

Thank you so much Jhuvina! Actually, I made a few blog posts on my website but then I stopped 😅 I realized it was just more work but instead, I'll focus more on my email newsletter and use that as an outlet. As well as my Calligraphy Poems for the Soul project. Thanks for watching!

I love your content. I’m like you in that I love writing and have consistently written in my journal for over 10 years ❤ I love the idea of having a “home” - a place away from the hustle where you can get back to yourself and enjoy the things you love the most without as much pressure. Hope it all goes amazing for you 😊

Such a great analogy! At first I thought you’re referring to the fact that your audience on social media is rented, which is also true, but that your newsletter is your own audience. I see now you’re saying that you want a place for you to express yourself and content that is your own. That is so important! I love that you know that blogging is your thing. I’m kind of the opposite, where when I think about videos I have a lot of ideas but when it comes to writing, although I can do it, I feel like it’s a chore. It’s great to lean into our specific thing that we like and are good at. I wonder if you like to also read a lot of blog posts? Cause they say that’s the clue, is to create the kind of content you consume. Can’t wait to read your blogs! Also, I am currently in one of Dina‘s coaching groups and she is awesome! So whenever you get the chance next to get on that, do it!!!!

Thank you so much, Cara! And it's great to have you in the group and so happy you're enjoying it 💕 Yeah I used to read a lot of blogs on all sorts of topics, but these days I watch more KZbin videos (it's just easier lol). And I'm reading more books rather than blogs (but trying to not read non-fiction as I've ALWAYS read non-fiction... reading more memoirs now). It's awesome you realize that VIDEO is more your thing rather than writing, that's great! When you were a kid/teenager, was there some kind of creative activity you liked doing? For me it was blogging haha.

Blogging also has a HUGE boost for SEO and increases your visibility (15+ year blogger and web/blog designer). Having a hub for all your creative outlets and business endeavors is never a bad thing! Blogs are not dead ♥️
@Deanna.G4 ай бұрын
Also - I have clients and friends who make five and six figures a MONTH from blogging - I think you definitely have that potential :)
@DinaLu4 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for the encouragement, Deanna! I think for me, my blog would be more of a creative outlet for what I'm thinking/experiencing in my life rather than an SEO-driven informational blog, which is why I was questioning if I could make any money from it. If I write blogs for the purpose of getting views from Google and optimizing SEO, I totally agree it can make a lot of money. But right now I just want it to be sort of like an online journal where I share my journey. How did your friends/clients their blogs? Is it combination of things?
@Deanna.G4 ай бұрын
@@DinaLu the cool thing about blogging is it gets good SEO just from the fact that it is constantly updated content - that is why a lot of non blog sites have to work so hard to get ranked - and if you’re driving traffic from your other sources (especially email!), you don’t need to go crazy with keyword research or optimizing every post so much that it takes all the personality out of it. In fact with the recent Google updates the majority of bloggers who were more of the lazy SEO types did way better than the ones who worries about every little factor for ranking. Personality driven blogs are making a comeback in my opinion. People love blogs they can relate too and have a conversation with.

I love blogs too haha. All blogs are sites, but not all sites are blogs. I'd say a blog is a place where people/companies POST regularly updated content/stories that are mainly educational.
