My daughter has almost 6 acres and 2 broken down lawnmowers. I worry for her and my grandkids because of the snakes. I pray she is blessed with help like this someday. In July he said he wasn’t feeling well, he just wasn’t himself and rested a lot, also he seemed really down, and his daughter was really down too, worrying about her Dad. Then one day I got texts from both of them hitting about one second apart, he went to the doctor and tested positive for Covid! And he was relieved! Who on earth would be relieved to have Covid? A man who thought he was dying. I thought he was too, thank God he didn’t. So yes Covid is still hanging around, he has had it several times and so has his wife. I’m grateful to have not had it because I am 81!

I live in ruidoso New Mexico. They test the Forest fire sirens every month! First time I was ready to grab my cat and run! I’m originally from the Texas Panhandle. They do blow the sirens in the smaller rural towns once a month for volunteer firefighters meeting. But they will also test the Tornado sirens as well. 😂🤣💞👋🏼

Great job! I’m with you, work smarter not harder (you already work hard enough). I can totally see waiting until you are through mowing, edging, trimming, etc. to gather all of the grass and debris to dispose of. Wearing a reflective vest at dusk would definitely make you visible to traffic and with the V neck design your beard would still have the black background of your shirt. If it is too hot or uncomfortable to cover your face while working, you may want to look into using a Neilmed to flush out your sinuses after completing a job. Stay safe so you and Doofy can spend lots of time with your family.

Thank you for helping out my Texas neighbors. The siren you hear may have been for the local V.F.D. In my home town, they used this to call any local Volunteer Firefighters that were in earshot when they needed to gather more help.

San Antonio used to test our sirens the 1st Friday of the month at noon. If there was an emergency. We were advised to turn on TV or radio to see what the emergency was. Heard it all through growing up. Then later moved back in parent's home and still heard it. I don't know when they stopped testing it. It has been years since I last heard it. Once a month you could check your clock's and know if the time was correct. 😂 just a little humor there. I love the work you do. ❤

I KNEW THAT HAD TO BE WRONG. it was like 5 or 6 at night. I just chalked it up to maintenance. I feel like in tulsa, we have a little kid running out warning system. I just ignore it and keep cutting. We got hit with a tornado in 2017, and they have been super paranoid since.

Some small towns use sirens for calling up volunteers in case of fires. That could be the case since it's too late to be testing the sirens and as you say, the weather shows no warnings or tornadic activity. Just my experience from living in small towns. When I find someone's channel that is similar to my way of thinking, I will binge watch a lot of their videos. And that has been a joy (also your dad's) to see what you are doing for community at large. kudos to you. One thing I might say, you need to not take that much dust into your life because future health will be hard to live. Too much dust was in my life, and I have to take allergy pills.
