I think the real question is how did you leverage the script & resultant geometry to make the actual physical piece. Did you make some kind of Jig? Or a template ? Digital fabrication is more than just modeling it’s about how you turn the model into the real thing.

Hi Coby, The focus of this tutorial was to explain how to use Kangaroo and Collider to create such a structure in Grasshopper, not a real model. Maybe in one of the following tutorials, we can give a focus on digital fabrication and how to make this as an actual physical model. Thank you for your suggestion!

I followed the tutorial and although it was tricky to follow along, I ended up with a neat design... at the end, the baked item would not slice ... my slicers (Cura and Creality) literally created 5 dots on the base ... not sure what went wrong there ...

Hey Michael, this would be very difficult to 3D print, especially if the "sticks" are not touching or if their tolerance is off. Also, you would need to take into account the thickness of each individual stick and create 3D printing support.
