I like the pressure gage at the end of the barrel, you can also check and see if there is a pellet in the barrel while you're down there. 🤦‍♂️

i have the compact version with Donnyfl sumo on mine and its super quite. I tuned it to 12 fpe with 15.89 JSBs and i get nearly 4 mags from 250 to 140. i love it :D

Cool pistol, and cool video. I bet you'll be amazed of what a pcp pistol can do (in terms of hunting) if you try 21gr and 23 gr H&N .22 slugs with it, just try it up to 70m, the retaining of energy is amazing . Many of us use similar cheaper chinese made pistols as backpack mini carabines guns with good accuracy results.

Try aiming with both eyes open when using open sights. The sights appear to be half the size that they actually are. Better sight picture for the target. Just don't make any suggestions for altering the gun like you did with the FX Dreamline stock. The Typhoon fit great but the Dreamline needs fingers the size of sausages to hold it. Too bad you only shoot high end guns.

Nice pistol. I shoot SAhunter 20m handgun competition. From 2021 we will shoot 2 new classes namely Air pistol with open sights and an open class any pistol/revolver with ant sight. I will shoot with my Gamo compact is the Air rifle claas and Beeman P17 with Lynx 1.25 to 4 long eye relief scope in the open class. Both are Pneumatic single shot. This Ataman Ap16 will be ideal for this competition.

I might be being picky when I say that pistols are used in competitions and have the precision of high end rifles albeit at shorter distances. Using the word “toy” for pistols generically is a mistake.

Matt something that's been bugging me for a long time and I tried to tell you is that you are shooting Diabolo pellets not diablo, which I assume you know is the shape of the pellet. There is no shape called diablo.

even on camera looking at that monometer on the front on the barrel makes me nervous, really bad gun practice looking down the barrel even if its not loaded, other than that looks like a great gun

Its pretty normal for a manometer to be on the front of a gun. You don’t have to look directly down the barrel to read the pressure, you can look from an angle and point the barrel in a safe direction.

I agree with Matt, I don’t know why everybody complains about the manometer being at the end of the tube. I do agree that it’s not the ideal placement but one does not have to look directly into the muzzle to read it. It can be read at a safe angle with a simple twist without putting your face directly in front of the muzzle, while still maintaining safe muzzle control. Just my 2 cents.

There are pistols that are tools and not toys allso. I have competed with pistols for many years and its realy fun and challenging + when you compete you do it against other shooters with pistols so its a even playingfield that is as challenging as rifle shooting if not more.

Do you happen to know the thread size on that cylinder? I want to customize a gun but HECK, I can't find information on the threading of most pistols' cylinders. I'd like to spare me the purchase of something in the order of a hundred dollars only to figure out the if the threads would fit my adapters. That's it. I've tried talking with a company (Morini) and they said "it's a secret, I cannot tell you"...CAN YOU BELIEVE THESE GUYS ??? HPA tanks are HEAVILY regulated and they must follow precise criteria, and, as far as I'm concerned, the threads are definitely not a trade secret, quite the opposite. LOL Ridiculous... Anyway, any help is much appreciated, sincerely.

That was loud 😎 Question: I’ve bought some jsb match pellet 25.39 grain , but they didn’t have enough , so the guy is also adding some 33 grain , I’m shooting pcp pistol 25-40 max yard , will the heavier pellet give it more knock down power ? Especially at close range or will the heavier pellet just drop faster and miss close range targets 20 yards .25 caliber

You can try to zero the light ones slightly higher, thus the heavies will hit just under or on zero

Pistol accuracy assessments are almost always performed from a fixture like a Ransom Rest. The pistol is fixtured and a mechanism actuates the trigger. It's a measure of best possible accuracy, not really practical accuracy.
