I shed a tear man. They did such justice and perriot got their baby back. Now they are going all out for bleach. The budget and love they have for it is showing. It’s so freaking crispy! They went right into it and I’m very appreciative of it since it’s not being dragged out. Every episode is going to look like a movie and that’s exactly how it needs to be done!

I think the simple reasoning why Pierrot got more brutal here than the anime’s original run was simply because the anime at that time was originally made for broadcasting whereas TYBW’s adaptation is made for Streaming and I think there’s a little bit more leeway that shows have in scenarios like that

I've waited... no.... we've waited on so looooong for this and, for it to come back hitting hard like this with the nostalgia the fresh new fluent animation and fight scenes the art work the uncensored Gore the strait to the point action and adaptation of the manga strait to anime no stretch out bs . sasakibe's bankai is Kōkō Gonryō Rikyū, a lightning type bankai. Yamamoto has sung praise for both the power and potential his bankai had, as several scars he has from when he was younger come from him and sasakibe sparing. Sadly yamamotos og voice actor passed away a few years ago but i think his new voice defintly careis the power someone like yamamoto should yeild. Bleach was the first anime i ever watched, and i managed to catch up and watch the final episode right as it was airing for the first time. 10 years of waiting, and it was perfect. down to the single frame.

First I love that Bleach is finally back starting strong. And as a German I can say that the sub is definitely weird because the words made no sense and the spelling was butchered for sure except the last line 😄 When he said "Los" meaning "go" but translated into "now" which is okay I guess. He really nailed the spelling there 😁 I just want to see how they spell the rest of the words and names. I guess it is likely the same for people who speak spanish and the Hueco Mundo Arc came along. Super duper understandable and kind of agreed cuz it is INSANELY FASTER than what any of the Big 3 have ever been allowed to have before. Their material back in the day and even today has always had to be stretched out or have inserted filler to keep it going, and it's such a crazy thing seeing one of them get not only the high level quality this is getting but also not have to do that extension anymore.

If you skip the fillers then it's around 200 something, with fillers it's 366 I think. It's one of the OG Shonen Boys that launched anime to the stratosphere it is so yeah it had a lot of time to build its episode base. As a Bleach fan that can put aside personal bias, I can tell you that Bleach isn't exactly the best of IP out there. It's good, not great, and many people love it because it's how a lot of us got into the anime world as a whole rather than it being quality type deal. But if one wants some cool dragon ball z like fights, but it's with swords and spirits then this is a show to give a whirl.

Sadly yes....you pay for a subscription that forces ads on you....However this is the standard format coming from everything that isn't anime based (HBO does it to and soon Disney + and Netflix will have ads on their lowest tiers). This is the primary reason Crunchyroll has always been my favorite subscription for watching stuff period (pay and stream with no ads)

The day's almost over and I'm still processing Bleach is back. Usually I'm exaggerating, but I mean it when I say the wait was worth it. The art, the animation, the sound, the characters, the tone of it all, the MUSIC makes me feel like it never left. Oh my gosh the high quality though! Way to make up for all the years of wishing and hype for the final arc. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. Imagine an alternate reality where it did manage to continue when it's popularity and budget wasn't the same anymore. Would I have been as hyped today if it was some sequel/reboot nobody asked for premiering 10 years later instead like what other series are doing? HELL NO. They really are doing justice to the final arc of a fav series of mine. I can't believe it. I haven't read the final arc, but I do hope the anime adaptation continues to honor how it was written.

Bleach is back and showing everyone why it's part of the Big 3 right off jump. Absolutely beautiful to see it back after so long as someone who started the anime back when it aired on Toonami/Adult Swim in the 2000s and started the manga shortly thereafter, I was losing my mind when it was finally announced and my god did they not disappoint. Feels so good to see Bleach finally uncensored and allowed to fully bring Tite Kubo's vision to life thanks to additional scenes, uncensored, and the series being directly supervised by Kubo himself. And that special ending, god it hit me because I had been a bit sad when Rapport wasn't announced as the OP. Thankfully Scar is pretty good and is Tatsuya Kitani, and the actual ED is fantastic imo.
