I totally understand your Hermes Store experience , I started the journey last year August, I bought 2 bags and scarf and small little leather goods , I spend almost $13000, I am asking my SA that about some shoes at the mean time I asked her that’s any Kelly in stock , then she started getting aggressive to pushing me about their coat about $20000 and diamond jewelry cost me $10000 ...and she try to tell me indirectly i need to spend moreeeee, and she also told me other customers who bought clothes houseware jewelry will get offer B or K bag...Actually I am in the mood to buy their shoes and some fashion jewelry, as you know all of these also high price.. I don’t feel comfortable shopping there anymore, I am disappointed 😔

It's almost like they have to bribe people with Birkins and Kellies to buy their other merchandise. If they're so exclusive they shouldn't have to resort to pressure tactics and bribery. I hate when SAs put the pressure on, it makes it impossible to think and make good decisions and it takes the fun out of the whole thing.

I got lucky that my SA didn’t pressure me. My husband I went there to get a a specific color and hardware. But the only available is rouge tomato I believe. Although I didn’t that bag my SA is so nice that she let me try the jewelries and scarves. 4 months after, I got a call that specific color and hardware I want is available!

If I recall correctly, the bags were initially offered for purchase to loyal customers as an appreciation, early in Hermes history so it sounds like they are keeping that practice/custom and in so doing have made the bags more limited therefore more luxe. I have shopped at Hermes and will continue to do so but I have no plans on purchasing any of their bags at this time. They are beautiful bags but I can't imagine paying double to get one of their handbags. I know some other you tubers have said its almost a one to one ratio, so you have to spend about the price of a Kelly/Birkin to get offered one of those bags but then there are others who got offered a bag after a few visits. I can imagine it may feel intimidating or nerve wracking declining a bag from this fashion house but you did the right thing and it sounds like you declined in a professional way. I feel you also did the right thing by letting your SA know what bags you were looking for initially because some people are not interested in buying bags but will buy other items from Hermes. It's very insightful to listen to your experience! The Bolide isn't a quota bag hence SAs can offer it. Any bags other than the B/K/C are "easier" to get and bags like the Bolide, 24/24, Garden Party, Evelyne etc are often seen on display in stores (at least in Singapore)! However I must say that most H bags come in limited colours and hardware, hence if you're looking for RC and RS, it's best to look at the resale market! Especially if those colours are not in the current season. And babe, DON'T be afraid to turn down bag offers (or any offers)! I've turned down a couple of offers and my SA knows that I have very strict criteria, so often times, she offers me items she knows I would love. You sound like you've found a lovely SA (based on what you've shared so far), so keep in contact with him! Now that he knows your dream colours, I'm sure he'll keep a lookout for you! Continue to check in with him every once in awhile. Honestly the start of the H journey was scary for me but my SA is the sweetest, which really helped! Once you find an SA you can click with, the journey is going to be so fun and enjoyable! Hope this helps and you're having a lovely day x 💛

Rose sakura will likely not be back in season for another few years.. if you really want RS, you may want to consider just buying it through the resale market. In the long run you will spend less money.

If you know what you want, I would wait. I’ve been very lucky and did not have to play the game. My first purchase was a Herbag and jokingly I asked if they had a Birkin. My SA said no, but he said he’d keep me in mind. Since my Herbag purchase, I’ve been offered a B in 35 and 25, a K in 28 and a Constance in 18. I’ve never felt pressured or told I need to spend X before being offered a K, B or C.

If it's not a birkin or kelly, they will offer if you just walk in and ask for a handbag. I went into the Bond st store for the 1st time last week and they offerd me 3. One was a pink ostrich in a style I'm not familiar with. I would have bought it if it was just pink leather, but I'm moving away from exotics. I declied all 3 because none were what I asked for so don't feel bad. I have zero hermes purchase history.

My offer took 6 months. I was not offered any other bags and only bought items I wanted to buy along the way. There was no pressure to buy or mention of me needing to spend for an offer. I simply got to know my SA, and developed a professional friendship. First offer was K28 which I declined, second offer happened 4 days later for a B30 which I accepted. I wanted my first K or B from the boutique so I waited. Covid happened a month after I started working with my SA so who knows if I would have been offered sooner had the stores not been closed but the time went by quickly and I have zero regret in holding out for my boutique offer.

Hermes bolide 27 in epsom, size and leather of this bag is considered rare. They don’t come by easily. You will see the slouchy ones but the study epsom is hard to find. The design of this bag was first designed in 1923 and the first bag to have a zipper. You should consider not turning it down but to go see it in person, if the color is still not your thing then offer to buy a small little something. This will promote your relationship with your sa. Good luck in your journey.

It definitely depends on the SA -- but chances are that the SA may have asked the manager, and they probably want you to spend a certain amount of money before offering you the confetti in a Birkin/Kelly; I say just buy what you like

Other than quota bags, most SS can view what's available outside their store (usually within their country.) They usually only try to obtain the non-quota item if you are set on buying it (i.e. bolide, jypsiere, sometimes mini roulis...etc). You have every right to decline any item, even a b/k/c if it is not in your parameters. For what you spend never be afraid to stand by what you want, and if you & you sales specialist are honest you will eventually be offered your items in due time.

I think Hermes wants to offer their bags only to their most loyal customers, not just to people who want a Birkin or Kelly. The bags are really hard to get and sometimes they have them in stock and sometimes they dont. They want to make sure they ask they loyal customers first. I dont think you should be upset about not buying a bag. I mean, it is you who is spending the money after all. If you go to Paris, you can make an appointment and get a birkin or kelly, but that is only in their paris office i think.

Bolide is also a classic. It is how LV alma got the design from. Size 27 is quite rare and popular in Asia. The resell market is 30-40% more expensive than original price. You just bought only 3 items. None of them is the one that your SA could get high commission. You were lucky that he offered that bag to you but if it's not what you like then it's fine to reject it. It's not their rules that you have to buy . Imagine you were a SA . You have 2 customers. One spent 1000$ but the other one spent 5,000$. Who will you offer a Birkin to.

I love your videos, they really bring me joy to watch, and all those lovely pink bags and accessories 😍. I find the Hermes game disrespectful towards customers which is why I would not pursue it at all. I do think the kelly and birkin bags are very beautiful but am not interested in participating in the whole charade. Even if there are other items I like (I love the boots for example, or some SLG’s) I would rather put my money elsewhere just to not give my money to a brand that plays with customers. It’s insulting. Shops like Dior, Valentino, Chanel and so many others have wonderful customer service which is what I expect from them. And this whole “building a relationship with your SA” is annoying. I am not your friend nor will I pretend to be just so perhaps you will grant me the honor of buying the bag I want. I am a customer. Period.

From what I've heard you can tell SAs your wishlist and get specific but the more specific you are the less likely you'll get offered a bag because the color and style might not come out every season :/ so you're just waiting around for when and if it does...and even then who knows if you'll even be offered the bag! 😭

Dear Saki 💗 I think you should be open to more colors. I see that you wear white and soft cream/soft grey/ light beige or brown as well.For example: Craie, Beton, Blanc, Gris Perle, Nata, Gris Mouette, Gold... Rose Sakura is an hard color to come by... you could end up waiting for years (literally). At the moment Rose Confetti is in season so you might have higher chances with this one... but it mostly comes in silver hdw (if not only) 💗🥺
