Good try, not sure if your picking pattern is right but your phrasing isn't close. Take a listen to the original against yours & try again!

I took it from a live version where he was playing live. It seems to change a little from gig to gig.

@@ap741000 all good, I don't play it the way they do either as it's too complicated to pick it right & sing it. I just strum it & only fingerpick if someone else sings it & then probably don't play it right. Saw them live years ago, Hughy was a pretty good guitarist, multi instrumentalist.

Hey thanks for the lesson I’ve been trying to pick it like the original and though iam a decent finger picker iam still finding it tricky to get to speed with out making a mistake 😊 it’s a tough one
