Holy crap, that was intense. The fastest I ever pushed my Yamaha was 262 kph at the back end of the Mario Andretti Straight at Mossport Park in Ont. Canada during an Amateur Superbike Final. I finished ninth. I'll never forget it, so much fuch fun. All that traffic on public roads seems just a little crazy to me, just sayin' 😎

I prefer bikes as you tend to feel the speed more directly. That said, I’ve never been in a super powerful car. I drove the old muscle cars back in the day (V8, heavy as hell, power for days and like 10 miles to the gallon), but nothing over 400HP. I’ve been up to 150mph (241kph) in a car and 170mph (273kph) on a bike… I have yet to break 200mph (321kph). Some of these cars, I wouldn’t mind taking for a test run!

I use to have a cbr and i would reach my max speed b4 even the nicest super car could pass me. I only ever lost in acceleration to 1 car, a pimped out Corvette Stingray. Im in shock to this day lol. That stingrays never fell behind and ended up passing me. Ill forever have respect for corvettes.

Many years ago I came off a roundabout and pulled out to overtake the 911 in front of me, he scared the crap out of me because he then swerved in front of me to overtake someone else, so I fully opened the throttle and went round him. I used to spend each and every sunday sitting in my car along side my mate in his 911, just waiting for something fast enough to race. We would both park our cars at the top of a hill over looking the motorway, if anything fast enough would come along, we would go after them. If they did'nt race after a mile of following them, then we would go back and wait for the next. They were crazy speeds and one route we had was around a mountain with a drop of 600ft all around it into the sea below, How we survived I don't know. I look back now and think how lucky I was for not killing myself or someone else. It's only when you look back you realise what a total bellend I was to drive like that. Now I drive like I'm driving miss daisy. Only a month ago half a mile from my house, a young lad crashed his car on a road I almost killed myself on years ago. It is an off camber bend, and pushing hard in the wet catches inexperienced drivers out. When it happened to me I was on the bend at 90mpm , the back went so I ended up facing the houses, I corrected it at the same time my mate paniced an dtrid to grab the wheel. In that 2 or three seconds I hit his hand away and shouted 'fk off it's my problem' while the car over corrected and faced the other side of the road. while it was fishtailing we were still doing 80mph. I managed to wrestle it back in line and get straight. Most people would have then just been releved and slowed right down to a sensible speed. However my mentality in those days was different. Immediately knocked it down a gear and withing a second was racing after the cosworth in front of me. If that happened now I would need new pants. The sad thing is no matter what we say to kids , or tell them these stories, they will not listen until it happens to them or someone they know.

Pretty cool video but I have two problems with it, you don't always know what type of motorcycle is involved in the race so they don't get any credit. secondly the motorcycle should have more more wins according to the video, @6:50 there were three motorcycles racing against a Corvette, it appears thet all 3 won, so why would you count that as 1 motorcycle winning? If it was three different types of cars racing against one motorcycle and all the cars beat that motorcycle wouldn't that be three cars beating a motorcycle there for three wins?

An associate crashed his Harley at high speed, some other idiot pulled in front of him. He lost a leg and use of one arm. Hitting a pebble at hyperspeed can be deadly, blowing a tire etc. I've biked all my life without even dropping my bike, except once at a red-light when I was too drunk to remain upright But I picked it up somehow and raced after my buddy. We had both recently divorced and were enjoying our freedom. Now I m 72yrs and have decided it's time to sell. I really don't want to stop but I also don't want my last ride to be a wreck. Almost all bikes (apart from some MV Agusta F4s etc) have a speed limiter at 299 km/h, so yeah, after they have spanked the cars and hit the limiter, the 500k Euro cars doing 300+ are going to overtake the 15k bikes doing 299...

Mira la velocidad, no se ha movido... la moto lo deja atras porque acelera mas, pero no es mas veloz, después de que el m135 adquiere velocidad, pasa esa moto fácil.
