People forgot that this man sent Porsche to kill an innocent man. People forgot Korn was playing chess every day analyzing different ways to move. They were so many hidden gems in plain sight. I pointed out the gold fishes(or whatever type of fishes they were) in the separate glass bowls. How Korn kept them so close together, and how those fishes were trying to reach each other unbeknownst to them, that they would never swim close enough, never meet unless he wants them to be. The "Uncle" kept saying to not trust the major family but never said anything about not trusting the minor family. Every time Porsche was about to learn something else, someone is always killed. Both he and his mother don't have all of their memories, so can you imagine once they truly remember everything, and not a memory fed to them, the chaos that's about to ensue? Then there is also Kim. He does not trust his father, period. He's always looking into Kinn and Tankun from the start even while being on his own, just to make sure everything is ok with them. Dug into Porsche and Chay just to be sure Kinn wasn't being set up, only to find out things he wasn't even looking for. He didn't even shed a tear at hearing his father was "dead". Before he was telling Kinn he didn't have time to worry about anything else right now, because he knew that people would try to turn on him. He was only there for his brothers and Chay. He was not worried about his father. Every time he showed up at that house was never for his father, but to discover what his father could be hiding and trying to set in motion. So many things to unearth, but all we can do is wait for season 2.

The fish are beta fish, and they are infamously territorial. If you put them in the same bowl they will fight to the death. When the fish are first shown in ep 11 or 12 there are three of them, two males and one female. After Kan is killed by Korn there are only two remaining, one male and one female. I believe they are symbolic of Korn, Kan, and Nampeung.

Nothing shows Kim's love for Porchay more than the fact that he very clearly wants to keep a low profile and doesn't like to be (an active/overt) part of the Mafia side of his family, but for Porchay he'll jump right in to protect him, risks his life (both health wise and 'the life he's living' wise), and readily announces his presence to the world. Several times.

True. Kim would rather stay in the shadows and guard Chay quietly. He didn't even go to help his brothers when they were facing such a thread, he went to guard Porchay instead. And the sad thing is, Porchay doesn't even know how much Kim loves him and what he'd sacrifice for him.

@@MicukoFelton Kim keeping a low profile and staying as far away from his Mafia family as possible - while still obviously caring about them a great deal and keeping an eye on them behind the scenes - also explains his solution to protecting Porchay. He avoids Porchay and pushes him away the way he does his family in an attempt to keep both of them safe. While also actively protecting/caring for both Porchay and his family in ways they won't find out about. His character likes showing things through actions and not words. There are clear parallels between Kim's relationship with Porchay and his relationship with his family.

The thing is Kim can't keep Chay out of the mafia life style. Chay's brother is in love with the mafia kingpin and now he's then head of the minor family. There is no keeping Chay out of it at point. And while keeping a low profile and guarding Chay is admirable, it is also confusing the hell out of Chay. Who has been led to believe that Kim doesn't care for him. Kim needs to start talking to Chay.

Of course. In a perfect world they'd communicate their feelings and Porchay wouldn't end up hurt. But we all know that communication is often an issue in BLs. XD Not to mention that, narratively, there's a reason why Kim is the way he is. Look at how messed up Tankhun is and how Kinn was raised to be the perfect, stoic machine meant to at some point lead this violent family. By a manipulative as hell father who constantly lies. None of them have been taught to use their words properly. Hell, they've probably been taught to either lie when it's convenient or to not say anything at all. It's safer that way. And Kim, especially, seems very good at keeping his thoughts to himself. I'm not excusing it, but Kim being the way he is and letting his actions do the talking - probably subconsciously, too - makes perfect sense to me.

@@languidlotus It's not about a perfect world. It's more so that Kim is more like his father than he's willing to admit. And he's more like his father than his brothers/ He's also manipulative, secretive, and has his own agenda, that he's unwilling or unable to put aside. Not even for Chay. I'm sure in season 2 we will get deeper into why he's investigating his father. And something tells me it has a lot to do with Porsche's mom. How much do you wanna bet he dug around and found there was no death certificate for her.

Also, my take on what Vegas was feeling while seeing his father dead was similar to what you thought, but also that he probably saw his one chance to be good enough taken from him. He's spent his entire life feeling inadequate,, seeking his father's validation, and kept telling himself that one day he'd be good enough and his father would appreciate, respect, and love him. (Which was never going to happen, obviously, but kids raised like Vegas will always tell themselves it can still happen once they 'do better'.) This is also why I think Vegas kept saying 'I have nothing now' even though he still has his brother and Pete. He was told he wasn't good enough, has started believing so, and now he can no longer prove to his father that he can be what he was expected to be. He can't get the validation that he so desperately craved. It's basically confirming his father's accusations that he's useless and a failure. His father died before he could 'do well'. Even in the hospital bed he still feels this way. He's useless and has nothing to offer Pete. (And you know that under his dad's rules you better be powerful, successful, and have lots to offer or you're a waste of space and not worth anything.) So he's giving Pete a way out. I guess it's up to Pete and Macau to show him that he does have worth and that he still has them.

Here's the tea Topher: Korn was lying the whole time. If you look closely Porsche's vision of what happened matches Gun's version more than Korn's version of the story (although Gun's version isn't completely true because I'm 95% sure he forced himself on Porsche's mother at some point). So both brothers were telling twisted versions of the truth but Korn especially altered his to make Gun look like the worst villain of the two. Since he was planning to make Porsche the head of the minor family from the start. Idk if you remember but in ep 1 he was calling Porsche the last piece of his chess game (the queen to be exact, the most versatile and powerful piece in chess). Korn knew his brother Gun was screwing him over from the beginning and that Gun and Vegas were the reason certain things were going to hell for the main family and he knew he had to get rid of him but He couldn't just kill him for no reason/without definite proof of betrayal and he couldn't kill him before he found someone to replace Gun and that wasn't about to be Vegas cuz we all know Vegas don't mix with Korn or anyone from the main family. That's why Korn Brought Porsche into the mafia. He needed to groom Porsche to take over so he made sure that Porsche would be able to follow Kinn around and learn the business as his bodyguard and that is also why he handed Porsche the head bodyguard position from the Jump. That is also why he insisted that Porsche go with vegas to resolve the gang issue in ep 7, because like I said he wanted Porsche to learn and take part in the business and familiarize himself with it. That also explains why he tried so hard to keep Porsche's trust but as you can see shit hit the fan and he had to change the story so many times. He may not have been able to predict that Kinn and Porsche would fall in love with each other. And it is obvious that he was against it at first (because he knows feelings make Kinn weak) but once he figured out how to use it to his benefit, he adjusted the plan to fit into his original vision. And It became easier for him in a way, and that explains why he decided to accept their relationship so easily and also why he gave Kinn permission (if you look at the scene when Porsche leaves you can Korn nod at Kinn before He runs off after Porsche) to go after Porsche in ep 12 when he first finds out about his parent's car crash being covered up. He needed Kinn to be as close to and as trusted by Porsche as possible and the more in love and together they were the more he could also use Kinn to make Porsche move how he wants him. Idk If you saw in that scene even as he appoints Porsche as the head of the minor family, he doesn't hand him the ring directly, he gives it to Kinn who then offers it to Porsche, insuring himself that Porsche would take it. He hides behind Kinn the entire time after Porsche finds out that he has been lied to by him again and again. From the beginning, Korn was never worried about whether or not Porsche would agree because he had Porsche's mother locked up somewhere this whole time. And he was ready to use her at any given point as he saw fit so I believe him when he said he was waiting for the day they could meet again. But he, most likely, was planning on revealing that to Porsche at some point in time when he was good and ready but things obviously did not go as planned. Korn was playing the long game but Uncle Thee showing Porsche that picture messed things up for Korn. That's why he wanted Kinn and Porsche to get out of town so bad last episode because that would buy him time to hunt down Thee and kill him before he spoke but you know that's not what happened. So When Porsche ran away from the house in the last episode, Korn started to think up the fastest way to get what he wanted meaning a way to justify getting rid of Gun and give the position to Porsche so that ultimately he could solidify and stabilize his power until Kinn was ready to take over. Korn very much knew that the moment gun thought he died or was somehow out of the equation, his brother would show his true colors and attack and everyone who sided with his brother and/or was not loyal to the main family would align themselves with Gun and they would all be taken out at once, like those clowns at the board meeting (he knows how trigger happy Kinn could get). Gun attacking would give him a legit excuse to shoot him dead and pass his power on to whoever he picked without a fuss from nobody. I'm pretty sure he told Kim and chan about his plan cuz of their reactions at the hospital, those looks, were sus to me and we never got to see what that meeting was about when Korn called Kim in the last episode. Kim was ready for them to come after Porchay for a reason. Korn first sent someone to get rid of Thee before he spills the whole truth and then got ready for Porsche to come asking questions. I know Porsche doesn't trust Korn or want that position as head of the minor family but Porsche realizes that he needs to be in a position where he can 1) be of help to Kinn, and protect him from not only his enemies but from his own father and 2) have enough influence and power of his own to find out the truth for himself and even take Korn on if he has to. So, it makes absolute sense why he would accept the minor family ring. I suspect Porsche has a plan and I hope we see him take action in season 2. And I'm also pretty damn sure mama is faking her memory loss. Cuz If you look at the look on her face at the end and the fact that at the beginning of the episode she was talking about little birds meaning freedom and happiness to Porsche and here in the last scene she was painting birds in pairs. I don't think that's a coincidence. Season 2 was confirmed and I cannot wait for it to come out.

Hilarious how the "I'll force you to work for me, pointing guns at each other" couple and the "bdsm, pet/owner, shoot me!" couple both have their happy ending. But the sweet heart-warming idol/music student couple ended up sad and crying at the end. It makes sense they didn't resolve Kimchay's issues because they don't have that much screen time and maybe it would have felt rushed. But it's still sad that the sweet innocent love didn't work out. Maybe in season 2! I fully expect they pay more attention to Kimchay next season.

You do know that Kim basically manipulated and snooped around by using chay's crush on him right ? He unknowingly caught feelings in the middle of all that but Kim had no issues using chay to snoop around for his agenda. That is not heartwarming. It's kind of messed up too but not at the same level as VP (this was more on the dark side that became grey ) and to an extent KP (the way they started was grey ). Kimchay looks soft coz of barcode who is the softest character in the show.

For all Chay knows Kim was going to kill his brother if he found something he didn't like. It was a great end. Bible at the end of all is the most stand out actor for me. Every scene since the beginning, & especially in this episode, he has garnered and held my attention. He emotes so well. Definitely MVP in this series. This series has definitely changed my expectations of all others. Can’t wait for next season. Daddy Korn, Nampheung, Kim/Chay, VegasPete and KinnPorsche can’t wait to see where we go from here. Is Daddy Korn as evil as Gun says, will Vegas/Kim try to take on Porsche/Kinn for leader positions… would love to learn more about Pete…where will both couples’ relationships go. So much. Also note that in Porsche's flashback the sound is muffled when it comes to who actually said the line about Porsche's dad deserving to get shot because he knew too much. While it is certainly possible that Korn shot Pat, what is the actual likelihood that he did. So far as we know (and this could change) only Gun was in love with Nam. Which means he was probably jealous of Pat, and thus more prone to not having any patience with him. And while we know Korn can be violent, he prefers to use manipulation instead. Could he have manipulated the situation to trigger his brother into shooting? Of course he could. This won't be resolved fully until Porsche remembers everything that happened that day. He remembers his father being shot, he remembers part of what was said but not all of it

Vegas really does love Pete. with Tiawan, Vegas didn't have any feelings towards him and he was always cold with him but with Pete at first, he was cruel and cold but you can clearly see how he fell in love with Pete and the fact that he doesn't show any emotions towards anyone except Pete and that he is the only person to say "I love you" to Pete shows people his feelings towards him and it makes me mad that people still say that Vegas doesn't really love Pete.

After watching the finale like 14 times, I low-key understand what Vegas means when he keeps saying that he has nothing left. At first it was kinda like a “why do you keep saying that you have nothing left when you have Pete and Macau?” but, it makes sense why he thinks he has nothing left and that he would be a burden on Pete because the minor family and proving to his dad that he was, if not better, as good as Kinn and was worthy of being the heir of the minor family WAS everything to him, despite Pete and Macau physically being there. I also think it comes from his trauma and how his dad constantly told him that he was worthless for the smallest things.

I saw someone theorise that the reason the bodyguards in the main family aren't given bullet proof vests is because Korn believes in a twisted "survival of the fittest" methodology. If they want to be main family bodyguards, they have to be good enough not to need vests. I thought it was a really interesting point/idea. I do think it aligns with Korn's obvious ruthless mentality when it comes to work (thinking back to when he talked about emotions dulling the blade of his best knife in that analogy in ep 7). I've really enjoyed your reactions to KP. This series has been an entire EXPERIENCE and I cannot wait to see what comes next.

I really loved this series with how it was bold with showing also the dark stuff and really developed the charachters. Also showed other colors than just black and white so to speak. Kinnporsche didn't offer us fastfood but instead gave us the michelin star meal.

I know that Vegas and Petes relationship is complicated, and they both somehow understand each other and the pain/trauma they both been through, but so far it's still hard for me to really get onboard with it. Kims song to Porschay was lovely and heartfelt(and yes Jeff has an amazing voice), but I still understand Porschays hesitation, cause he still feels hurt, and Kim still have some making up/explaining to do, but I think, that if he does it right, Porschay might forgive him, and they can have a future.

Personally, I don't trust a single thing Korn says, because his stories don't make any god damn sense. He's constantly adding more narratives to spin things so that he isn't the bad guy. And whenever he's caught in a lie, his excuse is always "I did it to protect you." But Gun's recount of the story makes more sense and it aligns with the brief moments of Porsche's flashbacks. If Gun was lying, then Korn wouldn't have felt the need to shoot him before he could say whatever he was gonna say about Nampaeng. I'd bet that Korn wanted Gun dead for a long time because he knew the truth and because he wanted to control the minor family. But he didn't want to just suddenly kill him without a reason and look like a bad guy. So instead, he fakes his death and baits the minor family into a war so they'd be the bad guys in everyone's eyes and any casualties are a result of their hostility. With Gun dead, he can now have full control of the minor family and the one who knows the truth is no longer an issue. "History is only written by the victor" - This is probably the most important line in the episode.

You know, I feel like Vegas has honestly become friends with Porsche. He and Pete were a roller coaster this episode, but I love that last bit with them and Macau. Gun's scarves are doing the same thing that Tang Yi's and Tian's suits and Vegas' and Hira's cheeekbones do to you. Gets you every single time he comes on screen. Two reasons I need Season 2... The KimChay ship needs to sail. AND I need to find out what actually happened with Porsche's parents. Unc is dead and Gun and Korn's stories don't match. Honestly, Korn's story makes less sense. Nampeung just forgot she had 2 babies after hubby died? And why Korn kill two people right when they went to tell Porsche the truth? And why would he need to feign illness? And then the "History is written by the victor" And then Nampeung's reaction at the end also makes me feel there is some story we do not know... Like you said, Korn been playing 4D Wizard Chess. Plus he is the one who keeps being shown to be lying. Gun is a whole psychology textbook, but we don't know him to be a liar. I feel the true story has elements of both Korn and Gun's story. Porsche gonna need to dig them memories out himself for me to trust any of it. I LOVE ERIKA!!! Come thru, Ms Thang! You always talk about how Kim shows his feelings where Porchay can't see. That scene at Yok's bar is the epitome of that. Love that Kim's reaction to his Dad's death was to go watch Chay. Love that he figures out where he is, even though he has never been there. Although I am not sure if that is from his spying or from caring about Porchay. Porsche totally cured Tankun. Everybody else just accepted that Tankhun could not go out and Porsche was the one to push it. Eventually we see Tankhun being the one to take Porsche out. And then we see him just being able to go out to places other than Yok's by this final episode.

But i agree, VegasPete ship is not a ship we can all agree but its a ship that you'll want to root for to grow (and not be as toxic as it was). They delivered properly, both actors and the directors. Watching you talking about wearing bullet proof vests remind me of a thought that pop up on my mind: after rewatching the series, the bodyguards in this series are kinda suck. They “know” danger is coming do they strategize their guards? No. Vegas and teams shooting while hiding behind something, major fam guards standing on plain sight. Anyway probably it down to the design of action scenes for main characters are build beautifully (KP hug shooting, Kim’s solo, Vegas Porsche), the extras didn’t get as much attention for details (which is quite understandable too). If people hate Vegas' dad, then you kinda have to hate Vegas too because they are basically the same person. I say that because some people seem perfectly wiling to excuse Vegas' behavior because he was abused. However, its safe to speculate that Korn and Gun were abused by their father as well. People are willing to say that what redeems Vegas is that he loves Pete(whom he victimized), well it would appear Gun loved Nam (whom he molested/r@ped). Both seem to think their love/obsession for their victims absolves them from their actions towards them. This is what mental gymnastics can lead to. And I've seen a lot of them done to justify Pete calling himself Vegas' pet. If the relationship was rooted in pet play I wouldn't have a problem with it. But it's not. This relationship is rooted is violence and dehumanization. It also bothers me that at no point during the whole I have nothing, there is nothing left stuff, did Vegas once think of his little brother. So are we to believe he was perfectly willing to allow Korn to take care of his brother? Are we supposed to believe that he trusted Korn (who had to know both he and Macau were being abused by his brother) would protect Macau? Yeah okay...🙄 Korn is the king of manipulation. What makes him so good at it is he mixes enough to the truth into his lies to confuse you to doubt if he's lying. The way Nam looked at Gun when she saw him leads me to believe he did r@pe her. Also when confronted with it Gun didn't deny it. Nor for that matter did he deny shooting Porsche's father. Was he manipulated into shooting, probably. But since he was most likely obsessed with her it probably didn't take much manipulating on Korn's part.

The difference is, we actually see the soft side of Vegas. We get shown he isn't ove dimentional. He gets development, he doesn't stay a bad guy 100% of the time like his dad. If his dad had scenes where we see him be lonely, cry, have regrets etc... we would feel bad for him too.

@@BrooklynStitcher No, the very same thing cannot be said about Gun, because apart from a few short moments in the last episode we didn't get his POV at all. Unlike Vegas, whom we got to know and understand. And no, we aren't supposed to forget it. That doesn't mean we can't like Vegas. If you don't like him that's okay, but don't tell people what to feel just because you want to feel morally superior. I personally don't like Porsche, but I'm not listing all his faults and pressuring people not to like him too.

And that if you looked at Nam when she saw Gun she was terrified of him which leads me to believe that Korn was telling the truth. And if you read more carefully I said a good manipulator tells enough of the truth the lies are harder to uncover. And I could care less if you or anyone else hates Vegas. My point was and remains, that if you want to convince yourself of something. You can talk yourself into anything. And so far nothing has been proven either way about anything Korn or Gun said. What I'm looking at is the likelihood of something being true or not given what I saw.

the way I take Porsche as the head of the minor family as a personal insult to me. so I hope in a season 2 Vega gets to kill Korn after lots of mind games of course. Vegas to get back what is his by birth right and become the leader of the minor family with Pete and for their endgame his name is Venice.

The thing is , Gun would never have turned over control of the minor family to Vegas because he didn't trust Vegas would be capable of it. Like his father probably saw him, Gun saw Vegas as weak, volatile and unstable. And it would seem that how they are setting things up, none of them have a right to the power they have. I'm guessing the reason Nam's family were killed and her taken in as a foster child was because her family was to be the major family. And Korn and Gun's father used her to solidify his power. Also, if Vegas were to become head of the minor family all there would be is more blood shed with Pete and Porsche in the middle. Pete is still loyal to the major family because he owes them because if his grandmother. And Porsche and Pete are friends. The main reason Porsche hasn't gone after Vegas after his attack at the main house and threatening to kill him front of Kinn to inflict the most pain he could is mainly because of Pete. That and Porsche is still at heart a good man.

@@greyangel9875 The thing is however since they have kept Porsche's mother alive, to me means Kinn's family (i.e. his grandfather) probably stole Porsche's birth right. Which still means Vegas wouldn't be head of the minor family. Because he doesn't have the right to be. Also, remember how Korn worded how he justified making Porsche the head of the minor family. He talked about giving the position to his sister's oldest son. So when he has to justify his choice to everyone else, it won;t look like he gave it to a strange, but to family. And I''m sure because of Gun most of the people who have to agree to all of this won't have a problem because they will see Vegas as unfit. Not to mention Korn can also say how it was both Gun and Vegas who attacked the main family. Which once again would justify why Korn wouldn't appoint him as leader. And I'm sure there are some kind of rules about that. Especially given Korn had to provoke his brother into attacking the major family so he could kill him in order to appoint the next leader of the minor family.

I love the serie so much coz of actors great acting , just hate the screen writers changing a lot of things from the novel and turn left some holes in the plot which made me lost most of the times yet I had read the Novel. Also making Porsche and Kinn dumb most of the times yet in the novel there not this dumb and weak . Kinn and Porsche aren't dumb in the show. By your logic every character is dumb except Korn and Kim because those two don't trust anyone and would do anything for their agenda. I am reserving my final judgment on Kim as I don't have much to go on but Korn doesn't care about anyone and has been playing everyone since the start. So if having no sense morality or heart is what counts as smart, that's pretty one dimensional if you ask me. Each character has their flaws, blind spots and one quality that defines them but have layers to their character too. The quality that defines Porsche is his honesty (he follows his heart) and loyalty defines kinn. Makes them relatable and layered.

@@aloneneha4839 if you think the script the show's script is weak, you can debate that the the entire world coz this show became a world wide hit and created a milestone in BL world so I would say you are alone in your opinions on the characters and script. The characters kinnporsche are loved enough to play such a huge part in making this show a hit. As I stated, you are seeing things in one dimension but I like to see all aspects or every single character as this show's characters has such depth and complexity. There is so many layers to each character and every character, except a few that didnt receive enough focus, evolved beautifully

@Camera the show ended with an open ending with a lot of unanswered questions. Please list the plotholes you are talking about. If you paid attention to all aspects of both the characters (kinnporsche), you would not be calling them dumb. Their actions and decisions esp Porsche made perfect sense and in sync with who they are. If you are calling them dumb for ep 14 and believing (we don't know yet if Porsche actually believed korn) Korn, by that logic every character is dumb. There is almost no one who has not been manipulated by that guy. You think that just by beating up enemies they can be counted as strong and badass? That is such a oversimplified way of looking at it. At their core, Porsche is still that stubborn, hot tempered yet sweet and protective person who evolved as a person due to his relationship with kinn. Kinn is still that ruthless person but we got to see his soft side for his family and Porsche because of Porsche. He always had that side but he never showed it due to the business he is in. That side is pretty evident when he took over as the heir and sacrificed his dreams, choices., his whole life so that his brothers don't have to. He doesn't even want this job. Kinnporsche tackled some crazy odds stacked against their relationship. There were a good number of points where their relationship should have broken but it didn't and they came out stronger in the end. Its shows the strength of their love. As individuals, Porsche went through a mindfuck in ep 13 and ep 14 and yet he didn't cave and managed to stand his ground and follow his heart. Korn f****d with kinn's mind and heart by hiding so much from him, lying to Porsche , pretending to be dead and inciting war with minor family and leaving kinn all by himself to deal with that. Overnight kinn got all of that dumped on him, along with responbility as the head of family and business while simultaneously he was grieving for his supposedly dead father and fighting a war. So if you think they are dumb or weak after going through all that and still manage to keep their relationship and sanity intact, we are not watching the same show. The show did a brilliant job at giving such depth to each character
