best part is the void wasnt even staring back, it manifested into a physical form and was out for a stroll and he managed to both run into and piss the damn thing off XD

Honestly that’s slightly more terrifying. Like the “Thanos Snap”, no big explosion, no big over the top demise, just GONE. Like imagine if the Deathstar was a person could wipeout entire galaxies with a single thought. Random guy: Hey wasn’t there a star system over there? Entity: that galaxy has CEASED. RG: Wh-what do you mean it “Ceased”? Entity: it never existed, I willed it so. RG: How- I was BORN on a planet there! How can it “never had existed “?! Entity: The Name? RG: W-what? Entity: The planet you were born on. What was its name? Your family, friends loved ones? What were THEIR names? RG: I-I……… I….. can’t remember…..! HOW CAN I NOT REMEMBER???!!!!!!! Entity: Because their existence has CEASED. Imagine how terrifying that would be, something you SHOULD know, that you DID know just seconds ago, erased from existence, the names scratching and clawing at the back of your head, on the very tip of your tongue, yet you can’t grasp the words to release them from you mind let alone your lips. All because so “higher, god/god like entity erased the knowledge of their existence. The more you try to remember, the less you do remember. Any attempt to recall the memories further erases them from your mind. All because it was “Willed So” by the “Entity” standing inches away from you, on a whim. Now obviously Loyd didn’t erase the memory of the Demon’s existence, but imagine if someone of equal powers/abilities, did the same “Void” trick but with entire continents or planets. Just “poofed”, gone, nothing left but a crater in slow filling up with ocean, or an empty space where Saturn and/or Neptune USED TO be. Gone in less than the blink of an eye.

I always love when the arrogant demons grab Lloyd and get a true sense of how op of an entity he is compared to them that they just lock up because they can't comprehend how a human can be like that lol

Because while human, It has been teased for a while that he might not be human in a sense as the moment he was born/reincarnated. Several entities thought an evil god or something among those lines was born because his evil mana was felt all around the world which led to many of the plotlines that were already covered in the manga. While Lloyd is human and he was a human who reincarnated, his mana compares with nothing to the point in one battle quite literally has the power to destroy the cosmos quite easily with altar magic (that fight is one of the best flights so far) so we manga readers, are waiting for the current arc to finish so we get either yet another clue as of what Lloyd really is beyond being a human who reincarnated into a human or if we get confirmation of he is also the reincarnation of an evil god or something as with the current arc, with the SSS rank monster rampage, there's a monster that so far has not revealed who he is, has been pulling the strings from the shadows and has only been referred to ??? And in the few lines he has uttered, he said he is waiting for someone/something exciting to appear/happen so he goes into the battlefield. If you liked the anime, you should read the Manga! It's the same style as the anime and at some point it goes full colour instead of being black and white and some of the future battles are just so over the top, it's actually rather incredible how the author manages to top it up on the next arc.

spoiler from manga he did survive. although wasn't revealed how yet. in their next fight loyd couldn't use magic or rather control his magic(keeping 5000 magic soldiers does that - not summon but steady output of magic or they disappear)

The manga already revealed that. He was saved by Tartarus. By having a piece of him. Placed in a mana canister, for revival. The demon laugh at someone taking that name. In exchange for a body revival, he would give info on Lloyd. Although tbh the demon didn’t know about Lloyd…. Other magic. Still Tartarus uphold his end of the bargain and revive the demon.

What I find hilarious about this scene is that there wasn't any kind of domain expansion animation, it literally just hard cuts to a black void. Demons in this world naturally have a strong resistance to mana (Grim having described it like light rays on a human body), so just imagine how powerful he really is comparatively.
